Making a new game

Iâ€™m making a new game with my bro @Cynderace. However, it is the story of my life, and it would be crazy where to start. For Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle (get it? Starters?), there would be an incredible amount of railroading. To make matters worse, Pulp Fiction has the oddest timeline and similarly, my life story might sound odd in all orderings.
Which one do you want?

Peronally I find flashbacks can be pretty annoying in games if they completely interrupt the game you were playing, but if they've just in the form of a cutscene or text, there's no problem. On the other hand the very beginning (origin story) is probably not the most interesting place to start a story or introduce a charcter at.

You start it with braixen, obviously. Skip right to best pokemon. That time braixen beats riolu in a battle and makes trainer so proud and wins tournament. Do you and your bro even have trainers??

i'd go 3, 2, 4, 1, 5; if only one, then 4 as it sounds most exciting

go backwards, harsh open with 5, then climactic stuff, then eventually bask in the origin story as a reflection of events

Here you have the settings for a fake pokemon game.

The slimes around here are Grimers. The hamsters can use a mask to be Cubone. Charbile looks like Vulpix. Swordplay's avatar is the phantom that dislikes SilphCo. I could be Spearow. The clunky dog of Foxley is a fake Porygon! Nathan Karr dresses in yellow to be Pikachu or in violet to be Rattata. The furrys set their hair on fire and pretend to be Arcanine! Or dress in black to call themselves Houndoom.

If we had a good enough team, we could eventually beat the elite 4...
