Happy Bob Day
This April 2nd, 2017, marks the 25th anniversary of the very first Bob Surlaw comic, drawn in 1992. I've come a long way with this wobbly, bloated fish character, and I'm hoping to take him on an all new adventure once work on Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy concludes. Take a moment to read up on Bob's history and take a look back at the hideous comics that started it all! Check everything out here: http://superwalrusland.com/wiki/index.p ... Bob_Surlaw
Thanks for being a part of Bob's Journey, OHR friends. Don't know what I'd be without you.
Wow, I didn't realise Bob had been around that long. Here's to flying fish!
At the time I first played Walthros I wondered why things everything was so odd, especially the characters... and things are even stranger in later incarnations... But it makes as the continuation of a 25 year old comic.
Bob the Hamster's 25th anniversary is probably pretty soon too? I remember that James posted a scan of the very first drawing of him (though didn't have the other very first drawing)

here's to 25 more years¬!
What would you say is the best game to start with, if one wanted to learn more about Bob and the mythos?

Walthros is the only non-jokey Bob game that's actually complete. It's very dated now and I still want to remake it. I still like what I did with Surlaw Armageddon and Cool Guy Bob but they're both abandoned demos. Walthrus and Gato Sucio are complete but more interactive joke than RPG, Walrus Chef, C. Kane and Horse Game are cameo appearances.

Some kids made a video, sort of, of themselves playing Walthros and it's hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2SFq9ou_Qc
