Tim-Tim 2 Dev Thread

Post by Spoonweaver »

HELLO!

Tim-Tim 2 got greenlit! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... tim-tim%5C
YAY!

Now I have to actually finish the game!
Oh no!

I've been working on and off on this game for years now and I finally might have the push I need to finish it.
What do I mean when I say finish it?
I mean make almost all of it. :gonk:

In order to maybe push myself even more (or maybe to just make myself feel better about not working on the game right now :zombie: ) I've decided to start this thread, which I guess I never made before.

Tune in to see daily (or at least weekly) check ins, updates, and maybe even a screenshot!

Congrats and good luck, when you're ready to upload I recommend using Steam's new GUI tool instead of messing with their command line stuff. It's much faster and easier than their recommended method, download and instructions are here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamw ... 292646864/ (requires you to log into your developer account)

I've said it on facebook, but congratulations dude. If you need any testing or other help, feel free to reach out. This gives me a lot of hope for when I go to put Surfasaurus there!

Thank you all.

Just been planning out everything that needs to be done still.

Really proud of how well I have the ladders working in this.
I have some great things in the works for underwater areas and the frog spell.

Oh.
Actually no. The frog spell and the underwater spell are two different things. The frog spell turns enemies into frogs.
I'm planning on having the first created frog controllable by player 2.

I've been working on enemies and making decision.
I cut the number of buttons down to four, including jump.
I've been working on collision and also I've been doing some mapping

[s]Oh nice, so we will be seeing shops, towns etc? I have to say this looks quite cool, would it be accurate to describe it as similar to SMB3 with RPG elements? That's the vibe I get.[/s]

Never mind, helps if I actually read the greenlight description. Grats on getting Greenlit!
