>I ended up in the ER this morning after a sleepless night of frightening anxiety/panic induced symptoms that felt like I was having a heart attack
Sorry to hear that. I too suffer from bouts of crippling anxiety and panic attacks, so I know what you're going through. I hope you are doing ok.

I'm new to ohr game making, but I'm planning on entering a game. I don't really have a title yet (most of the work I've done so far has been graphics and a handful of maps) but I was tentatively thinking "You Need a Hero" However, that'll probably change.
It's going to be an rpg in a mostly modern-day setting, so prepare to step into a fantastic world of greasy pizzerias, mysterious maze-like malls and running into your dear old mom at the grocery store.

Working as intended!

You have encountered a Dear Old MomIdontknow wrote:... and running into your dear old mom at the grocery store.
Dear Old Mom has the initiative!
Dear Old Mom attacks with grocery basket. You take 3 points of damage.
"Ow, what the hell, Mom? Why did you hit me?"
Dear Old Mom casts Guilt, you become acutely aware that you have not given her any grandchildren yet.
"Mommm! Stop it!"

I'm not officially bowing out, as I still have time, but right now, I don't know that I'll have my finished game done by the 31st of July. I'm still working towards that date though.

Where the hell did May go?
I was out of town for about 5 days last week/weekend and I've been unable to really get back to work on my project since. Only two months and a week remaining, hmm. I also may sign up for a summer class at city college, so that would make things even rougher.
At this point I'm wondering if I should just bash out something barebones so it's at least releasable and playable.
