THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS
So there's about 2 1/2 hours worth of content, MAYBE less if you can speedrun it. To be fair, I'd love to see just how fast someone can run though it to the final boss. There's multiple endings, based on who you have in your party AND how many sidequests you've completed too. And if you 100% the game, there's a VERY special secret announcement for those who've managed to wring the life out of this game, and for those who may be up for some further fun later this year.

Festivus
I'm going to say there's... 5 hours of stuff in this? Even with a thing or two I wanted to add in never making it, there's still a fair amount of meat here. Anyway, have fun.

I like these entries! I haven't been able to play very far yet, but I like what I am seeing.
Lately I have been trying to play everything on Android. War on Xmas exposed a bug in Hero shops on Android that I hope to fix next week. Festivis is playable until you get to a door. The default on-screen button use button is CTRL not SPACE
You can change the button mapping in Edit General Game Data -> Platform Specific Options
Or make the script check both keys

Wow, impressive entries both. Ultimately, I'm going to give the win to Festivus.
Pheonix, if there's something on the list in the OP that you want, it's yours. I can also dig out the full list if you want, although I suspect the games I mentioned there are the cream of the crop, so to speak.
Fenrir, second pick is yours.

This was pretty much the result I was secretly hoping for (great job Pheonix!), and as a nice bonus, both entries for this year's contest have ALSO been reviewed and served as decent test cases for the stability of the Callipygous release! That, and they're complete games, and not like tech demos, which gives *THIS* contest the dubious claim of having 100% of its entries being full game releases!Mogri wrote:Wow, impressive entries both. Since I was in this for my own fun (and to not so subtly sneak a secret 2016 related message in my entry), I don't really want any particular prize. If at all possible, I'd like it to go to Idontknow and Ronintendo/Nathan Karr, my two playtesters. They did a smashing job of stepping up to the plate when few others would, and I'd like to see them come out with a belated Christmas present, if at all possible.

Re: Christmas Contest 2015
I'd like to have a good look at the rest of the list before making my decision.Mogri wrote:These games include Van Helsing II, Screencheat, Fallen Enchantress, [s]Defender's Quest[/s], Guardians of Middle-earth, Dungeonland, Europa Universalis 3, and more. I'll make a complete list available later.
Remeber: God made you special and he loves you very much. Bye!
You would.
Everything's Steam unless otherwise mentioned.
Dungeonland (this game is free-to-play, so I'm not sure what this key entails -- I would guess this is the "All-Access Pass")
Europa Universalis 3
Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes
Gotham City Impostors: Professional Kit (I believe this is an expansion of some kind; it's up for grabs to anyone who owns GCI, whether or not you participated)
Guardians of Middle-Earth + Smaug's Treasure DLC
Frozen Synapse/Spacechem/TRAUMA (Desura key)
Van Helsing II, The Incredible Adventures of
Leviathan: Warships
Lord of the Rings Online: Steely Dawn Starter
Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Mercenary Kings
MirrorMoon EP
Nethergate: Resurrection
ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS
Samorost 2
Screencheat
Second Avernum Trilogy
Super Splatters
Warlock
War of the Roses: Kingmaker

I think I'll take Nethergate: Resurrection. After looking at all their Steam pages it came down to either that or Avernum.
My steam name is nathanisamouse (anyone else from here who wants to add me can go ahead and send a friend request)
