New years shenanigans?

Post by Sparoku »

What did you all do to ring in the new year? If anything.

I got engaged, myself!

Please feel free to share how you partied hard, or chilled at home. :)

I stayed home, daydreamed about a cartoon mink, worked on my game a little (I think) and watched lots of YouTube videos.

By the time I uploaded Bad Boy it was well into Jan 1st here. Plus lots of baking and cooking, reading sci-fi (Asimov's Foundation), working on the OHR.

Congrats!

Mostly lots of noise-making, pyromania, and the sort, as is traditional over here.

Congratulations Sparoku!

I celebrated by observing the tradition of tired California parents-- by staying up until 9 pm, and pretending that New York midnight was good enough for me. :) then sleep! Zzzzz

I drank some cider (it's like that sparkling juice my parents gave me as a kid, but with alcohol) and spent two hours watching my friends try to beat an impossible Mario Maker level one of them made.
Working as intended!

I don't know what a big scary does, but I'm sure you'll be the best of 'em.

It seems to me that you have some malformed C++ syntax in your signature, supposing 'ClassA*' was intended as a C-style cast, but is lacking parentheses.

Hm, I was just attempting to show that nonAbstractBaseClassA was of type ClassA*, but I'll remove that for correctness.
