Slime Salad is now sending emails again, so all those topics you subscribed to years ago will now be flooding your inbox with reminders.
For the curious, outgoing mail suddenly stopped in 2012 when Dreamhost implemented the "Sender Domain Policy". If they sent out a memo about this, I missed it.
Fortunately, it only took me two years to fix!

The e-mails are only supposed to be sent for certain things, like if you subscribe to a thread by checking "Notify me when a reply is posted"
I think some of the stuff in the Arena also sent e-mails
And of course, e-mail was needed for password recovery if you ever forgot yours.
So if none of those things apply, then it is normal to not be getting any mail from slimesalad-- the fix just means that now you CAN get that mail if you want it

Arena sends PMs, but if you've enabled the "email me when I get a PM" setting, you'd get an email for that.

You might want to consider changing this announcement. It is the first thing that appears when this website is searched in a search engine. It isn't exactly what I would call a very good first impression.
