Infos
The game Void Pyramid by Willy Elektrix was released in 2016. It got high ratings on slime salad. At the time of writing it is presented on the front page of slime salad.com.
Actually high ratings mean: 93.3 from 5 vote(s), so says the game page in may 2016.

Plot
You have to escape from the Void Pyramid, a space prison inhabited by monsters and prisoners. Why you were imprisoned there doesn't matter.
You can choose from three character classes: Slave, Soldier or Scribe. They all wear old-egypt-like clothes combined with sci-fi gear.
In the start menu, you can read up the history of the Void Pyramid Prison. That's a nice extra. :)

**Bravo! Great Design!**
I really liked ...
  • - the many, many interactive things that were in the chambers.
    - the puzzles
    - the skill system! :)
    - treasures to collect for player motivation
**Things that could be improved:**
  • - the graphics, e.g. the battle background for example
    - Why is the game started in full view mode !? I did not like that, because most other OHRgames do not start in full game mode.
    - The textbox position is in the middle of the screen, this is bad for screenshorts
    - A bit more plot and information on the character - but I guess it's not the type of game that comes with strong characters
Overall Impression:
From seeing how high the ratings of void pyramid were on slimesalad I had high expectations.
I'd better taken a look at the screenshots, but so I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the drawings.

The game was fun to play. The music stays has a catchy tune. I did not really like the setting of a prison pyramid, but the mixture of old Egypt with science fiction is definitely something I haven't seen before. In regard to the game's story, I would like to know why the hero was imprisoned. I liked the exploring and searching for things.

The game design is done really well! :D
The first chamber and also the first minutes of play are engaging, because there are so many things just to collect or look at. The puzzles are done right and the action-system, e.g. that you need a certain amount of level to perform an ability make the game more interesting and increase a need to walk a path several times. It might be less interesting if you play the game a 2nd time. By choosing what stats to increase, one chooses effectively where one can go. Sometimes there are two ways to get to one places. It's good to be able to make such decisions as player, even if in the end one has to go everywhere to get all treasures.
I liked the little details that one could miss or discover if one walked the map for a second or third time.
The battles are a bit tough. The meter on the right that shows the enemies level is a really good idea, in that regard! :)
