"Ah, here it is. He presses in one of the bricks in the wall, and the wall swings open to reveal a room. A man dressed in richly gilded plate mail and green robes, wearing an amulet that looks frozen around his neck, kneels praying at a golden version of the altar in the large chapel. As soon as the door opens he turns and asks in a polite voice, "May I help you?"
Charles replies. "Hello Simon. Our sister is alive. This way."
Charles continues to the wall straight across this room and pulls on a candle on the wall. The wall swings open much like the secret door this room was entered from. It opens into a richly decorated bedroom.
"Lay her here please."
Simon goes back to praying. Madeline is laid down on the bed and Charles seems to breath a sigh of relief.
"So, let's see. You're question. First, we are in the cursed Castle Clover. A few have tried to escape from here, but none have succeeded. Please, do not go through that door over there." He motions towards the other door int he room. "The castle's curse has over taken many of the rooms of the castle. I have kept myself to just these few rooms. I suggest you use caution if you go wandering around. As for the statues, yes they are of the Family Clover. If you want to know more you'll have to ask Simon, he knows more than me."
"What are you telling these strangers Charles?" comes the voice of Simon.
The walls in the room Simon is in begin to freeze. Simon stands and faces the bedroom.

"Uh oh." Lynda thinks. "I better pull a Kalar and start chatting my way out of this..."
Lynda turns to face Simon.
"Charles is simply informing us about Castle Clover. Please, kind sir, we don't mean to bring any trouble. We're quite lost here, and we seek information that will help us find our way out."
"Oh, and forgive me for rushing into conversation without a proper introduction. My name is Lynda." She says with a curtsy. "And my companion here is Silas."
Lynda anxiously awaits Simon's response, hoping she'll be met with a better reception.

"Pleased to meet you, Simon." says Silas, agreeably.
"Can you tells us more about your family, and more about this castle and its curse?"

"Find your way out?" booms Simon, laughing loudly after he says it. Charles cringes as Simon yells. "Do you even know where you are little girl? You're in hell!" Simon's voice echos through out the whole chapel. Thistlewhistle and Kalar turn to see what that was. Even Galse hears it from the other side of the door.
With that Simon walks over to the golden alter of the block of ice and the dagger and smashes it with a firm fist. The southern wall of his room shatters to conjoin with the main chapel. Thislewhistle, Kalar, and Galse all see him now, seething with anger. The doors leading to the cells containing the zombies both shatter as well and the cells open. The three zombies rush out of their cells towards the main chapel.
Simon turns to face the main chapel and says, "...and none of you intruders are going to leave here alive."

Everyone is currently in battle. From now until the battle is over, everyone must perform a single round of actions before the next round will take place. If you'd like to automate what your character does, please explain what they will do for the next could of rounds.

"Hell, you say? Well that would certainly explain a thing or two." Silas says, in a friendly tone inappropriate for the situation.
"I agree that none of us will get out of here alive, but since we are all in Hell together, perhaps we can talk about it a bit longer. How did your family find itself occupying such an central position in this hell? Is there anything we can do to help you? Anything you need or want other than our aforementioned deaths?"

Simon doesn't respond, but instead seems to be getting ready to cast a spell. Charles says, "Simon! What are you doing? Have you gone mad?!"
Madeline seems to be free from the spell that was holding her and is now struggling with the ropes.

"Hell?! This is hell?!" Lynda says, appalled. "What the he-nevermind."
"So cordiality is out. Great, I can stop acting like a high and fancy woman. If this is your so claimed hell, how come we found ourselves here?! Did we all die that night we went to sleep?"
"And please, enlighten us about your family, the Clovers. Why are YOU people here?!"
"And can someone please tell me what the hell THIS thing does?" Lynda says, pointing to her amulet. She then turns to Charles.
"I suppose at this point politeness has gone out the door, but please, forgive me for my tone of voice."
She then turns to Simon, who is preparing a spell. She prepares herself to dodge what might come her way.

Silas casts resistance on himself.
"Simon! Simon Clover! What have we done to you?" Silas asks.

Thistlewhistle, Kalar, and Galse all stand there facing Simon, not sure what to make of the wall shattering and this guy yelling about hell.
Simon summons a swarm of beetles in the middle of the chapel. Then he turns and looks at Lynda and Silas. He doesn't speak to them.
"Simon, you can't do this! These are my guests!" says Charles, in a mild tone not suitable for the situation.

Lynda takes her bow and readies it for an attack. She doesn't intend to let the arrow fly just yet, however. She points it directly at Simon's head. She intends it as a threat, and not a direct attack, for Charles sake.
"ANSWER US, DAMMIT!" She shouts ferociously at Simon.

Silas is slightly relieved. Insect bites don't seem frightening to someone with metal skin, and it seems that Charles is on their side, at least for now.
He glances at Madeline, struggling against the rope, and asks "What is your opinion about all this, Madeline Clover?"

Simon casts a spell at Lynda. A ghostly finger flies at Lynda but disappears to nothing. Nothing seems to happen. Simon looks shocked.
(Silas Knowledge Arcane Check)
Simon just cast finger of death.
Charles looks completely shocked at Simon.
Madeline doesn't respond, but instead struggles against her ropes, doing everything she can to get at Charles.

Silas's sense of relief evaporates. He would still like to talk to Simon, but he wants to be standing behind Lynda while he does it. He would rather have Lynda between him and Simon than a solid wall.
"Finger of death." Silas mutters to Lynda. "That should have killed you, I think."

"Finger of Death, eh?" Lynda says. "So we've gone past words, have we?" She stands upright, lowering her bow. "So that's how it's going to be. Very well. I understand what you're saying." She suddenly sounds uncharacteristically reserved and polite, despite her circumstances.
She sighs, and says to Charles. "Charles, dear...I hope you won't be too upset, but..."
Then she turns back to Simon. Without a word, she suddenly bolts towards Simon, hands extended. She aims to attempt to strangle Simon, using her dissipating touch to do as much damage as she can.
