"We do this."
Kalar turns into mist, demonstrating to Harvey how to do so. He will make for the entrance, evading the mama wall. With how bad Hrulgin and co. look, Kalar will order the Jims to heal the ghouls.

Azedarac quickly teleported himself and the other inquisitors inside the tomb as Dan gathered up those who could not make it in themselves. The mist stopped closing in just outside the main door.
Now inside the tomb, the group quickly noticed the floor was completely covered in gold pieces. The amount seemed impossible to count. Million, possibly billions of gold. The floor was no where to be seen. The silver dragon, seeming to forget it's surround for a moment, rolled in the gold. Also in the room were two doors. One to the right and one to the left. They were both large and sturdy.
"The dracolich's phylactery was the gem over there," Dan said referring to to a small pile of green shards. It should be destroyed.
"That dracolich is the least of our worries. You've really doomed us all you know. There will be no escape this time. We're all going to die in here." said Azedarac, much to the dismay of his inquisitors.
"What are you blabbering about," said the nude dwarf. "This is how we break the curse and free ourselves of this kingdom."
"The time warps are getting faster, surely you've noticed Azedarac," said the silver dragon, still laying in the gold. "Holes in the border have begun to form and the devils outside have begun to get in. It's only a matter of time before the whole kingdom collapses."
"You would prefer to end it more quickly?" Azedarac responded.
"It doesn't matter now, does it?" said one of the orc paladins. "We're all here now, and we seem to be stuck. Dan just attempted to leave and was unable to by teleportation, ethereal travel, or even planar travel. We have to work together and defeat the guardians of this tomb or die trying."
No one responded.

Harvey picks up a piece of gold and examines it, the dragon was rollin' around so it's probably safe.. and breaks the silence with some wonderin' out loud. "How'd all this gold get here? Bone Dragon's hoard? But nobody ever complained about a skeletal monster ransacking the country side. Wanna know what I think? It's a distraction."

Kalar will fly Hrulgin and the ghouls one by one, or two by two, whatever he can manage, over the magma. Once inside, he'll have the two remaining Jims heal the ghouls. He then listens to the conversation before saying:
"How much time do we have? Because if we are to venture further into this tomb, then I'm fairly certain that that previous battle drained us, and while I'm also certain everyone is more than ready to venture further, starting out when fresh seems like a better idea.
"Further, if we are going to have any chance of surviving this, then we need all of the information available out on the table now."
He looks at Azderac and says, "You can go on and on about how we are all doomed, but that does nothing whatsoever. I would have thought that the leader of a massive organization such as your Inquisition would know better than to focus on why we can't do something and would instead start focusing on how we can do this."
He then turns to the silver dragon and to Dan. "Further, we need to know more about this tomb. We came in prepared to fight devils and bugs, we were not prepared for that dracolich. Had we known, the battle would have been that much simpler. It's obvious that you both know much more than what you've let on, and that lack of information has nearly gotten us killed at times. It's already gotten others killed as well." To Dan specifically, he says, "Look at what happened with the ring. Out of nowhere, you appear and tell us to get the ring. You tell us you've narrowed it down to one of the monks but don't tell us how you narrowed it down or what the first thing we should have been looking for. The entirety of your plan to retrieve one of the artifacts needed to break this curse was to push us into town while saying, 'Poke around in there until you've found it.' without telling us how we could have found such a thing even though you obviously had some clue as to how to look for it. And it is that utter nonsense that is going to be the death of us."
To everyone else he says, "As for the dracolich debacle, we charged in here with no plan whatsoever. And look where that got us. We are all too at odds with one another, too fragmented, with no actual plan of attack other than some pathetic little plan of 'Let's go in and hope for the best.' which, as we have all seen, is absolutely not going to work. We need a plan. Figure out who is directing the operation, figure out what everyone's role is, who goes where, who does what, who casts what, who attacks whom, and so on.
"So I propose this. Temporary alliance, all grievances aside and forgotten for the duration of this mission. We will all be sworn to protect and aid one another, and to do everything we can to see this through. We work together to get past this, or we continue to work individually and all die trying. We do a strategy meeting now, explain what we know, and we use that to formulate a plan of attack. Going into this ready and prepared will serve us much better than what we've been doing thus far."

Rob notices how distracted the Dragon is by all the gold. He glibly comments "This gold is fake. It is a good illusion, but fake"

Lynda sighs and sits down on the gold.
"All this gold is nice, but the real thing of value I seek are the answers. Are we even sure as to how to break the curse at this point? We've made it to the tomb. The scroll just said the secret is on the inside of Prince Stephens coffin. Yet, knowing what we know now, can we be really certain of anything anymore?"

"I was considering whether it would be better if I walked off into the mist or not," Azedarac said as he began casting a spell. "I'm currently blocking anyone from scrying into this room. I'm going to cast a few more protective spells of the same type after that, and I invite anyone with similar spells or powers to do the same."
Dan looked around for a bit, but then quickly began casting as well. No one else joined in.
"We don't have much time. He's sure to send in a wave of his minions soon," Azedarac in a hushed tone. "I am the only one that knows how to break the curse. If the lord of the seventh level of hell learns how to break the curse, he will gain all the power he has amassed here as well as be freed upon the material plane. Such an event would not only spell disaster for those living on the material plane, but would also cause a imbalance of power among the lords of hells. If he is able to probe my mind, even in death, he will gain what he needs."
Dan, as well as many others, were visibly taken aback by Azedarac's sudden change in demeanor.
"What can you tell us about what we are about to face?" Wren, the nude dwarf, asked.
Azedarac looked around shifty eyed. "When we first faced this tomb, there were four guardians. It was uncanny how clearly they mirrored our original party. If he has recreated the dragon here, it stands to reason the giant must be here as well. His physical strength is intimidating, but his psionic powers are truly frightening. I'm honestly not sure how we can defeat him without suffering major losses. After that, If Baalzebul has taken the place of one of the other guardians, that still leaves one other guardian."
"I hear something," the silver dragon said as it stood up from the now less desirable "fake" gold. There was indeed a noise, and it grew louder and louder. Many of those in the room had heard it before. The bug-like creatures were screeching.

"Original party...Giant? ...Dragon?" Lynda said. "...Alexander? Rock-Sounds? Wait...now I remember!"
Lynda looks at Azedarac closely. How could she have not clued in before?!
"You're Jeremiah! You're the slimehole cleric that tried to kill me when first met!" Lynda shouts at him. "This brings up new questions, but with those encroaching bugs, it can wait. The biggest question is, do these guardians adapt to the groups that enter the tomb?"
Lynda readies herself for a fight.

"To my knowledge, Baalzebul has a high general here, trapped within the curse. Breaking the curse frees the general as well, which is why that general must be destroyed."
He turns to Azderac and says, "From what you remember, how much of this place could be bypassed if we were able to sneak through as vapor, flying at high speeds?"
To the others he says, "If any of you are injured, see me and I will heal you up."
To the beholder he says, "Greetings. I do not believe we have met, but I thank you for your aid. You called these things 'kythons'. Can you share with us what you know about them?"
While waiting for an answer, Kalar looks around for anything he could jury-rig into a new shield. While doing that, he surveys the area, looking for natural coke points or places where he might be able to set up a trap.

"There are more doors like these in the tomb. It was impossible to teleport through them, or bypass them through other magic means in the past. At the very least, we'll have to open them somehow. It might not be the best idea to rush ahead and gather the enemy together. Our enemies should be spread out and may not come to each other's aid, if the tomb has been set up the same way it was found originally," Azedarac explained as he conjured a large spear made of darkness. The beholder meanwhile, prompted by Kalar, began telling the room all the information it had relating to Kython.
"When a group of powerful fiends were trapped on the
Material Plane, they attempted to create more of their kind
through magical means. The result was a swarm of little,
eyeless, reptilian creatures that displayed some insectoid
traits as well. As these creatures matured, they took on
varied forms. Their creators called them kythons.
Kythons have spread throughout the world, breeding rap-
idly. Their eggs look like wet, mucus-covered stones. They
seem interested only in eating and propagating their
species; they are entirely without mercy, pity, or compassion
for any other creature. As they mature, each answers only to
those more powerful than themselves, so slaughterkings are
the highest kython authority—at least so far. Given time,
the kythons may grow into new forms that are even more
specialized and powerful.
Kythons speak a strange smattering of both Infernal and
Abyssal, but only to each other due to......"
The beholder droned on and on. It was hard to listen to due to the beholder's blunt tone. A subtle head nod was all it took from Azedarac to send the spiked chain wielding inquisitor to open the door to the right. A few of the other inquisitors went to help and soon they had the door slowly opening. A rush of heat flowed through the crack.
