Meanwhile:
It had been weeks since Azedarac had left with the senior Inquisitors in a huff. Being the highest ranked Inquisitors left in town, Rachelle and Voulton were now in charge of Ximes. Things were not going well. Neither Rachelle or Voulton had the skills to run a city. The merchants were having problems with crime and the guards were being overly aggressive about it. They decided they needed to investigate the strange pillar of mist that Azedarac had run off to.
Thistlewhistle had lost herself completely in an amazing dreamland. Her body, now possessed by an unknown force, had made its way towards Nathaire's lair. Her torch flared bright as it shot holy flame towards every bug-like creature in the area. The horde of bug-like creatures was too great for the power of hte torch though, and Thistlewhistle's small form was quickly overtaken. Thistlewhistle teleported to the center of the horde. A massive demonic queen laid there. It was frantically birthing dozens of bug-like creatures a second. Thistlewhistle attacked. The battle was fierce. Hundreds of bugs swarmed Thistlewhistle and began tearing her apart. A huge burst of blue fire destroyed everything in the area. When the fire cleared, nothing but scorched ground was left of where the bug-like queen once birthed hundreds.
The beholder floated along the countryside. The giant pillar of mist had drawn it's attention. Surely something very interesting would be there. The beholder carried it's small furry friend with it as it made it's way towards the massive pillar. A series of disintegration rays and anti-magic gazes had begun to clear a way into the mist.
It had taken a long time, but Tammytharn and Galse had finally worked their way back into living at the INN they called home. After coming to understand the nature of the time warp, the two spent a short while apologizing to the locals and then quickly used their knowledge of the area and the locals to restore their former station. It had been weeks since the time warp when someone reported a small woman bleeding outside in the street. Tammytharn went out to find Thistlewhistle. She was bleeding heavily and missing an arm and a leg. The ever burning torch that seemed to never leave Thistlewhistle's side had burned out.
Hrulgin had found the familiar library to be very unwelcoming. No one there seemed to know him or Kalar, not to mention anyone else in the party. Hrulgin wandered around the area for a good long time waiting for Kalar's to send him order before deciding to follow Kalar's faint presence.

Unless he sees Lynda reaching for a curative potion, Rob will dash over and cast Cure Serious Wounds on her. He will direct his mirror images to mill about like a swarm of flies

Rob sees Lynda getting out a potion, but decides to heal her anyway-- she looks badly hurt, and that one little potion might not be enough.
Besides, the only other thing he can think to do is attack the bugs, but it seems like he would just be in Kalar's way right now if he tried.

Rob quickly rode over to Lynda's Aid. Thanks to Kalar's containment spells, nothing got in the way of Lynda's recovery.
Kalar's lava scorched everything in the area ahead. A flash of light burst forth every time a bug smashed mindlessly into the lava. The dracolich flinched at the heat of the lava and the numerous other attacks that came it's way.
Harvey joined in as the army did it's best to throw whatever it could towards the dracolich. Nude dwarf short huge spikey boulders that he seemed to form out of nowhere at the dracolich. One fo the inquisitors shot magical arrows, while another shot what seemed to be magic missiles. One of the two orc paladins had taken out a large crossbow and was firing rapidly with bolts that exploded on impact.
The silver dragon, did nothing. Azedarac, did nothing. Dan ran over to Sapphire, touch her and they were both gone.
The bug-like creatures fought Kalar's creations in the heat of the lava. Kalar felt one of them fall but knew they were doing their job and would likely take many of the bugs with them.
Lynda's lion died and began to unsummon after slashing one of the smaller bugs to death.
The dracolich caught fire. It reeled from the heat of the lava and charged out of the massive tomb, over Kalar's defense and landed in the midst of everyone. As it did it slashed the Inquisitor wielding the red blade horribly. The green haired inquisitor, panicked. She ran off into the mist and was gone.
The dracolich seemed damaged, but still quite stable. It's mouth began to fill with electricity.

Rob casts Glibness on himself, and then shouts a lie at the Dracolich
"Don't waste your breath on the rest, you bony fool!, those little guys are the real threat!"
As he says this, he sends the "little guys"-- his own mirror images rushing in a cluster to climb up the side of the dracolich's ribs, in the hopes of deceiving it into aiming its lightning breath blast at itself instead of at the others.

Kalar sees that the dragon is preparing to breathe once more, and falls to one knee, bracing himself and hiding behind his tower shield.
For now, he puts thoughts of Dan out of his mind. Later though, there will definitely be a reckoning.
Using the total cover provided by the tower shield.

Harvey's eyes widened as the flaming monster crossed the lava wall and into their midst.. too close for comfort. And yet Azedarc and the silver dragon do nothing.. what makes them so confident? Or so reckless? The little man rolls away from the giant monster this time before firing his shot, (hopefully) ending up nestled near the scales of "their" Silver Dragon.
The roar of battle seems quieter.. more distant from there.. but you don't want a dragon thinkin you're using him for a shield, do ya? Hehehe! Mustering up his most polite usage of the Draconic language (Which is tough when you learnt it from a guy who ended his every plan with "...and then I'll eat the evidence.") Harvey decides to ask a question before everyone gets turned to soup chunks.
"O', mighty lizard! Why doth thou not resists? Does yonder foe possess power aplenty to make our doom inenviable?"

"Not this time you bony bastard!" Lynda shouts.
She will activate her Ring of Force Shield and brace herself behind the resultant shield.

"No, Harvey," answered the silver dragon. "I am doing my best to not be distracted by this battle while keeping an eye on Azedarac. He seems to be doing the same." Harvey looked towards Azedarac. His eyes were clearly not focused on the Dracolich.
As Rob taunted the Dracolich, it noticeably changed it's point of attention. It seemed at first to be aiming at the Inquisitors but instead struck directly towards the mirrored copies of Rob. As it began to breath electricity, it clenched it's teeth together at the last moment, sending the electricity out in a cone rather than the straight line it had shot before.
The Dracolich's lightning breath swept over the field. Rob's copies rolled around in false pain as the lightning rolled in. The red blade wielding inquisitor was fried. The inquisitor behind him managed to dodge out of the way of most of the electricity but still seemed to receieve a good deal of pain from the attack. Kalar's shield helped to slow the attack, but wasn't able to withstand the lightning's destructive power. The lightning tore into the shield with draconic fury, causing it to splinter and break. Rob was luckily standing inches outside of the lightning's reach. Lynda was not so luck as the lightning barreled down on her again. She felt her body drift, as she did many times when she could still freely enter the ethereal plane. In that moment, she felt as if she could avoid a million waves of lightning. She emerged from the attack untouched. Kalar's zombunnies were not so lucky.
Kalar's other creations were also taking a beating. He felt another Jim fall to the onslaught of bugs. He knew they were doing their best though, and were likely doing a great deal of damage to the bugs as well. The bugs seemed to stop coming out of the door at that time. Whether this was because there were no more to come or they had wised up was unknown.
The army sprung into action then. The nude dwarf ran towards Rob and Lynda, checking for injuries to treat. The orc paladins flanked the lower end of the dracolich and began to hack at it's boney hide. The inquisitors spread out a bit and focused on the head of the beast. The silver dragon slashed at the Dracolich as well, but seemed to still be holding back as it's gaze remained mostly on Azedarac. The dracolich seemed to be nearing it's end.
A large green burst of light came from the mist towards the west then. A hole formed in the mist and from it emerged the beholder Rachelle had helped out of Nathaire's tome. On top sat a small mouse. "Friends!" it squeaked.

Harvey nods.. a standoff.. not wise to make the first move. Just what you'd expect from a dragon. Harvey was not expecting what happened next: "A mouse riding a monster? This is the best team I've ever been a part of!" he regains his focus, having been too quick evading the dracolich to do so earlier.. and trying to imagine what the hell the mouse is gonna do.
Bilchik doesn't wanna draw fire towards the dragon, who might be our best protection against Azedarc, so he moves closer to the beholder/paladin team and gets ready to renew the barrage when the time is right.

Rob is delighted that the dracolich reacted to his lie. He decides to try again.
"My gods! What is that behind you!" says Rob to the dracolich, eyes, wide, and with a tone of exaggerated terror. He points behind it (at the gate that the bugs had been coming through)
Then he activates his Rob's Standard, and moves closer to the newcomers (Mouse and Beholder)
He remembers the mouse-- and that is the only reason he dares get anywhere near the beholder

The beholder, unaware of the situation between the humans and the undead dragon turned it's attention towards the things he was sure were enemies. "Why are their so many Kython here? Is there a group of powerful fiends trapped somewhere nearby?" the beholder said as it blasted the bug-like creatures it referred to as Kythons. With the help of the beholder, Kalar's creations made quick work of the remaining Kython
The dracolich begins to lash out at the inquisitors, and even manages to snatch one of them up before turning to see what Rob was talking about. His logic seemed sound as the Dracolich looked upon the beholder, now floating just out of range of the lava's heat.
The strikes against the Dracolich continued. As they did, Hurlgin and several other ghouls emerged from the mist where the beholder's hole had recently closed. They looked badly burned.
The Dracolich looked close to tossing the ice dagger wielding Inquisitor at the beholder when Dan reappeared, already in the midst of spell casting. A dark mist floated around the dracolich as Dan finished casting. The Dracolich quickly fell lifeless to the ground. Moments later, the mist slowly began to close in from all sides.
