"No, I'll only be needing these. If you could help me bring them outside of town though, that would be useful."
Once Kalar has around 50-100 tankards, he'll leave. If the man follows, to help with the cart, Kalar will allow him to come. When in range though, he'll have his skeletons capture the man. He might know some interesting things.

The man takes a step back when Kalar mentions leaving town with the tankards, "What are you at?" Jack said unintelligibly. "Are you... are you on the game? Who do you work for?" As Jack spoke, four thuggish looking men gathered behind him. It was at this point that Kalar seemed to fully understand the man's motives.
Thwip!
Harvey gleemed as his arrow sliced through the neck of the purse snatcher. No one seemed to notice, even as he went over and began gathering up the man's meager possessions. The man had only his clothes, the money he stole and a crude dagger.
"Hey miss," said a thuggish looking man as he stroll out from a nearby alley to address Lynda. "It's dangerous to go alone. I think I have something that can keep you safe." Two other smaller men walked out of alleys behind Lynda then too.
Rob rode towards the main entrance of town in his travelers clothes. He knew this as the safest way to enter town. As he rode through town towards the catherdral, he saw the banner of the inquisition marching through the streets to his right. The inquisition would normally hold this banner very high as they patrolled the streets. It meant they were always easy to spot on the streets, but it also meant doom to many as it passed by.

Harvey gives the clothes a quick once-over to see if they're too bloody/too big/too small to make him fit in better as a peasant. After that, he picks up the gold and tries to regain his situational awareness. Where's the rest of the party? Where's trouble? And where's the next good sneaky place to lay low for a bit.. you know, one that isn't going to be drawing flies soon.
As he thinks strategically, he realizes the folly of taking a man's clothes. Who'd do that? Someone wanting a disguise. Better to stick out a little and make 'em wonder than to leave a naked corpse and walk around in someone elses clothes.

"If you mean am I with the authorities, then no, I work for myself. Now, kneel."
Kalar takes out his holy symbol, but keeps his hand clenched around it, ready to engulf the place in darkness should the need arise. As he does so, he focuses divine energy into it, focusing on the man in front of him.
"Now, seeing as I'm not with the authorities, and you and I are friends, why not call off these other fellows before someone gets hurt? You are a helpful individual, after all, and as such you do want to help me."
Item Used: Kalar's Mask, cast Command at will, Will save DC 19 to resist.
Spell Used: Suggestion, Will save DC 22 to resist.
If applicable, Diplomacy mod is +14
The very second any of them make a hostile move, Kalar will take unclench his fist around his holy symbol, bathing the area in darkness. He will then cast Bleakness centered on the spot he is standing, and then fly up, taking his dozens of tankards with him.

Lynda looks around her. She tenses up and anticipates attack.
"Oh, that won't be necessary. I'll be quite fine on my own." Lynda says. She looks around again. "If you think I'm a delicate flower, just remember, this dress is the second one I've worn on my journey. The first one got covered in blood..."
She looks the man dead in the eyes, with a smile.
"...and it wasn't my own, either."

As Rob looked through the alley ways between houses as he rode by, he could see the inquisition at work. They seemed to be raiding someone's house.
Rob saw the cathedral nearby, with only the plain looking houses between him and it at the end of the road. Rob rode on.
"What are you doing boss? Who is this guy?" one of the street goons said as Jack kneeled to Kalar. "Leave us allow boys," said Jack, following Kalar's instructions. Everything seemed to be working out the way Kalar had hoped.
While at the same time, Lynda's attempts seemed futile. "Did you get blood on your dress, me' lady? What a frightful adventure that must have been," said the thug as he approached Lynda, jeering. Meanwhile, the other thugs moved in and grabbed her. Harvey watched as this took place. He could only guess where the others were at a time like this.
Rob arrived at the plain looking houses near cathedral. There he found what he knew was coming. More than a dozen monks roamed the streets here.

"Right."
Rob slows Stumpy to a fast walk. He tries to put on an air of humility.
"I'm just a law abiding citizen..." he thinks silently to himself. "Nothing to see here. Just a poor humble messenger, who fears and respects the Inquisition."
He nods politely to any Monks he comes close to, keeping his eyes downcast as is appropriate.
He is still looking for an empty or abandoned building... or anything else interesting that catches his eye.

"Excellent. Now, let us be off and out of town, my friend. If you have anything useful that could help us, you might want to bring it along, being the great friend that you are."
Kalar will leave the town once more, heading to where Jim and his skeletons are. He'll keep his new friend along with him, hopefully he'll know something of interest.
Suggestion should last for the next 10 hours, and Kalar's banking on the "We are friends so you want to help me" bit of the suggestion to keep him obsequious for the duration.

Harvey can't tell if this is part of Lynda's plan or not, the woman is a little crazy. He'll sneak closer and try to ascertain her motives. No use bustin up a good hustle, hehehe.

"Oh, frightful indeed! Who would have thought the poor woman would have bled so much!" She says, laughing. "You'll be surprised at how much you'll bleed too." She adds with a wink.
She then attempts to get her daggers and viciously fight back.

Harvey watched as Lynda whipped out her daggers and slaughtered the thugs like cattle. The rest of the onlookers, lurking in the alleys nearby now knew this lady was not bluffing. They quickly left. Windows were shut and doors were closed. Lynda quickly found herself alone on the street with the three dead men.
Jack followed Kalar out of town. As he did, he began trying to explain how he and his goons would also lure people out of town in order murder and rob them. He was very interested in Kalar's organization and who he was working with. "I work for the big man, Elliot the Stabber. I assume you've heard of him. I'm sure he'll have a word for your boss. He doesn't take kindly to other people moving in on his racket."
Rob wandered around. He was attracting a bit of attention, but not too much. Most of the monks turned their heads as he passed, but they quickly went back to what they were doing. Whatever that was. Monk stuff. Then Rob began seeing inquisition members. They were low level members, and only one or two scattered around, but there began to be more and more the closer Rob got to the cathedral. When he reached the road in front of the cathedral, more than two dozen inquisition members were milling about on the streets and walking in and out of the cathedral. Rob had never been in this cathedral, but it seemed to be a hub of activity. Given it's size, truly anything could be going on in there.

"That is most interesting. Tell me, how does your boss feel about the Inquisition here, my friend?"

"What are you on about now? Elliot is an inquisitor. One of the higher ups even. How new here are you exactly?" Jack said with a confused look on his face.

"Huh, that was easier than I anticipated. I expected a little more resistance, and much more theatrics." Lynda comments.
Lynda puts her weapons away and checks the three dead men for stuff she can take.

Other than the clothes on their backs, Lynda finds an empty metal flask that stinks of hard liquor, a crude knife, a dented club, and a ring. This ring was not the ring Lynda was looking for though.
