Kalar considers leaving, but this is an interesting little mystery. He takes out his holy symbol, bathing the immediate area in complete darkness. Then he flies lower, to just within the treeline, so he can get a better look at whatever might still be around. He focuses divine energy into his holy symbol, casting his mind out allowing him to see if there are any others still around.

So, they aren't gonna rip her heart out? Everyone's got their different ways, heheh... ol' Daryl and Glenn, rest their bones.. Daryl could've smelled the lady a mile out, told you what was in the cart, what she had for breakfast, followed her from one end of the earth to the other. And Glenn could take one look at her and know exactly what to tell her.. how to get her angry enough to want someone dead.. want it enough to pay for it!
Or before that with Swanson.. she'd already be in a net, or worse! And he'd already be telling the traders that the weird cart-shaped lump was part of the pelt and they should pay us extra.. hehe, wasn't all bad times with him, was it? Almost forgot about him..
Harvey checks the brush for one of Swanson's patented Howler Snares (almost forgot about those, too!) and then tumbles out of the woods to make his entrance.
"Did someone say fool? Percy Foolsgold, at your service!" Harvey exclaims with a forced smile, firing an arrow at a nearby bird or just in general because DAMNIT, some habits die hard. He then maintains character by cart-wheeling, somersaulting and rolling in the dirt around the conversation. Entertainment... what a dumb way to hide an adventure.

Lynda smiles warmly.
"Damn, this noble shtick works wonders on these people." She thinks. "She's totally bought in to it! Lets see where this gets..."
"I see, I see." Lynda says. Lynda gives a slight curtesy. "Honored to meet you, Ms. Bellaire. You mentioned someone, Gilles Grenier. I'm not quite familiar with that name, can you enlighten me as to who this man is?"

Carol does not lift her head to to see Harvey but instead seems to bow even lower. She answers Lynda's questions with, "Gilles Grenier is a traveling potions salesman. Well known for his love potions. He had stayed at a nearby farm on his travel through the area."

Lynda laughs internally.
"If this poor girl bows any lower she'll be licking the dirt off the road." Lynda thinks to herself. "How amusing!"
"Love potions! My word, what a curiosity we have here! I don't see our group having much need for love potions, considering that myself and Rob are present." She laughs to herself. "Is there anything else out of the ordinary that's happened lately?"
Lynda looks to her companions with a smile.
"Do any of you have anything to add as well?"

"Ah, Gilles! The scoundrel! I am familiar with his work!"
"Let us continue together to town. Would you like some help dragging that load young lady? My horse is most willing."
" YES I HELP NICE LADY"

Kalar gets an idea, and after he's done searching for thoughts he'll retrieve the skull from his pack.
"Ardan, I know you must be anxious to see new sights, so if you want, you can manifest now. When you do, I would certainly appreciate it if you scout around the area and tell me what you find."

Harvey sighs and quietly brushes the dust and humiliation off of himself, already starting to hate Percy Foolsgold.

"AH!" Carol yelps as Stumpy speaks. She quickly covers her mouth though. "Just another trick, right." she asks with a smile. She gladly accepts the help with her cart and the party walks off towards Cordeliers. Cordeliers, as Rob explains, is known for it's Plums and Armor Crafting. It's one of the smallest towns in the kingdom. Other than being a peaceful place to rest, these not much more to say.
Meanwhile, Arden comes out of the magic skull and flies off. Kalar continues to slowly follow the trail of blood. Tracking, even such a clear trail, is tough work. Finding each of the new blood spots is tough work, heightened by the limited sight of his dark vision. After what seems like forever, Kalar comes across a dead body. Moments after he does, the bushes and plants in the area reach out and grab him. Kalar knows an entangle spell when he feels one. About a mile away from the road, Kalar wishes he had brought Jim with him.

Acting quickly, Kalar focuses his mind, channeling his power into his holy symbol. He then sends it forth into the area, banishing the magic holding him in place. As soon as he's free, he'll fly straight up to avoid whatever attacked him. Hopefully, the globe of darkness will keep him hidden long enough to escape.

While fumbling to dispel the entangle spell currently holding him, Kalar's globe of darkness vanishes in a flash of light. In front of him stands a nude dwarf and the largest bear he has ever seen. He finishes his spell, ending the entanglement and flies straight up, away from the dwarf and bear.

Kalar keeps well away from the crazy dwarf, flying many feet in the air. He shouts down, "I am Kalar Kess, healer and man of the cloth (technically true, just an incomplete truth) seeking my companions. Who are you and why did you attack me?"
Kalar keeps an eye out, ready to dodge anything the dwarf might sling at him.

"Leave this forest!" calls the dwarf. "You're not welcome here!"
Storm clouds seem to begin to form just overhead.

Kalar considers blasting the dwarf from the skies out of sheer spite, but eventually decides against it.
"I will leave, but if I find out that you harmed any of my comrades, I will return and lay waste to this place."
With that, Kalar heads off towards Jim. He'll then continue through the night, following the others.

"Let's find a place to eat! The roast lamb with plum sauce here is famous!"
Rob will happily perform in town, but not until after he has sampled the plum wine.
