Tammytharn nods. "Well... I suppose MAYBE..." she mumbles.

After all, The mirror was the main reason they came to Vyones in the first place.

"I don't know," says Gaspard. "Sephora was the name of the original ruler of Sylaire, but she would be long dead by now. Anyways, all the information I have comes from the old scout lady that came back."

"Well, Gaspard." Lynda says. "I believe it would be in our best interests to take up your quest. My fellows and I shall quest for the sword of Sylaire, and attempt to persuade Lady Sephora in to parting ways with it. It sounds unlikely, but I'm positive that we can do it. That mirror you mentioned sounds interesting as well."

"I don't believe my party members have any objections. Right guys?" Lynda says, turning to them.

"Remember, we need these items one way or the other." She whispers.

She then turns back to Gaspard and smiles politely.

"Really?! Fantastic!" Gaspard fidgets with glee. "I'll prepare passage for you this minute. Helena, the scout that knows the way, will meet you on the boat. Oh, don't mention her size, she's sensitive about it or something. So, passage for three then? The boat can sail this very day!" Gaspard looks ready to run off and prepare things but instead waits for a reply.

"How about passage for five? Just in case we are able to round up any more... Ladies... To help us?

"Five? Ok! I'll make the arrangements right now. Meet me at the docks as soon as you're ready. I'll get Helena and have her meet us there to!" Gaspard dashes off to prepare.

"Now we just need to find some dresses and wigs that will fit Kalar and Voulton" Tammytharn remarks in a serious tone without a trace of humor

Lynda smirks.

"Shall we hit the town and go dress shopping?" Lynda says. "I'm sure we can find some nice disguises for Kalar and Voulton. I hope it'll be enough to deter Sephora, though."

And thus the three elf girls went shopping. The amount of gold they had, quickly lead them to the fanciest dress shops in the city. They tried on dozens of dresses each, giggling the whole time. Rachelle complained most of the time but she tried the dresses on all the same. She felt rather silly when Tammytharn and Lynda caught her smiling while looking at herself in the mirror. It wasn't long before they had spent 500gold on a total of 9 dresses. Then the girls went to the nicest restaurant they could find. They were all treated like princesses as they ate. They thought about the silliness of buying such fancy dresses instead of things that could help them on their journey, but none of them would trade this day for the world. It was a bonding experience that they knew they would value more than any of the gold or gems they would find on their future journeys.

Meanwhile, Vouton, Hrulgin, and Kalar all toiled away on the wagon. They were still hard at work when the girls came back. It was instantly clear they had spent a good deal of their time in town shopping.

Voulton is in the zone, smashing down trees for fortification and barely notices the world around him.

Kalar has spent the past few hours meditating, focusing his mind. He tries to get in touch with this new and unfamiliar body. It doesn't respond the way he's used to, and the decrease in height has made things rather strange for him. He doesn't notice the women returning.

Despite her earlier reservations, Tammytharn is now feeling excited by the plan

She compliments Voulton on ...whatever it is that he is doing with all those logs, and then she tells him how they met Gaspard Due Nord, about the threat from the Graveyard Collosus, and about how they will now fetch the Sword, and get the Mirror as a reward.

"...and it is only safe for women to visit Lady Sephora, so here is a disguise for you, see? I found a wig that matches the color and texture of your beard! And would you look at this dress Lynda found for Kalar? So BEAUTIFUL! Kalar's new size is exactly the same as a typical Vyonnes girl on her Festival Of The 13th Year!

Kalar is doubtful as to how well this plan will work. Still, it is something that needs to be done. However...

"I am concerned as to whether a simple dress will fool this woman you speak of. I'm also concerned about one thing. When we get the sword, we will still need to use the sword on this graveyard colossus you speak of. Which one of us is going to be able to get in close enough to do that?"

Kalar thinks a while and then says:

"You say this woman charms men. What if the three of you meet with this woman, while Voulton, Hrulgin, and I stay here to shore up defenses. Alternatively, the three of us could search out this necromancer while the three of you find the woman. Both groups have spellcasters, so we can keep in touch with sending spells. That way, once you three have acquired the sword, you can just meet up with us instead of heading back to the city to wait for this colossus to show up."

Kalar leaves out that he wants to see what this necromancer is capable of. Who knows? He might be able to learn a thing or two, or even bolster his own undead forces.

Voulton is unimpressed. "Not doing it. I don't know why it's "Not safe for men" but *THAT*" he says, pointing to the dress in question with his axe "is not going to make it any safer for *THIS*." finishing with a gesture that at once indicates his height, his mass, his beard, the gravelly depths of his voice and the million other reasons that this is the stupidest thing he's ever heard.

The party discusses their plans. One plan is to dress the three less than normal party members up as women and travel to get the sword. Another plan is to leave the three in town while the elf ladies quest for the sword. The last plan is to all travel to get the sword and simply not dress up. There were pros and cons to them all, but what was certain is that the party had to chose somewhat quickly. They were told the boat would leave this very afternoon and the elf girl's shopping spree had now cut things very close.
