Moriamis begins casting spells that seem non-offensive in nature. She eyes Lynda after each casting. "Why are you disguising you true nature and why are you all traveling with an evil werewolf?" asks Moriamis.

Lynda laughs to herself as Moriamis casts spells and looks to her each time. The amulet definitely works.

"This evil werewolf is our friend, and has been saving our behinds since the beginning of our adventure. He had to unwillingly become a werewolf to save his life. As for our true nature, I don't quite follow what you mean."

"Please, Lady Moriamis, let us be civil about this. We all have the same goal of breaking the curse. It would be much better for us to co-operate."

"You, girl," Moriamis motions toward Lynda. "What is preventing me from reading you as I have your friends."

Lynda suppresses a smug grin, and remains polite.

"That would be because of this little thing." Lynda says, gesturing to her amulet. "It nullifies all magic used against me. However, it also prevents me from using magic in turn. But why are you trying to read us in the first place?"

"It is the best way to learn your true intentions," Moriamis says. "If it is a cursed item, allow me to remove it. Likewise, if you truly wish to be rid of your curse, werewolf, I can make that so as well." Moriamis motions towards her companion who then pulls out a potion.

Lynda is wary of this prospect of removing her amulet. On one hand, it hinders her healing greatly. On the other hand, it's saved her life multiple times. However, Moriamis may get offended at Lynda hiding herself from her.

"If you think you can remove it, then be my guest. I have no idea of its properties, as it was bequeathed to me by a statue. However, I do ask that I may keep the amulet. It has saved my life numerous of times and I couldn't bear to lose it."

"I can't speak for her..." says Tammytharn, "...but I think on the whole, Lynda's amulet has been a greater asset than it has been a disadvantage. Would your method of removing it break the magical effect? Or prevent her from putting it back on if she so wished?"

Tammytharn looks around at the others. "Maybe we should all sit around our campfire there as we continue this discussion? It looks as if we have no need to fight. We can forgive your student's brigandry if you can forgive us our kidnapping."

Moriamis casts a spell and Lynda's amulet unclasps and falls to the ground. For a moment everything seems to have gone perfectly. Then Lynda's hand begins to shake violently. It fades in and out between being ghostly and solid. The ghostliness begins to creepy up and cover more and more of her arm as everyone watches.
Moriamis gives a stern look than seems deeply regretful. "I think you should put that back on, I've detected your true nature can see you weren't hiding anything," she says.

"What spell did you use, and what do you make of what was happening to her hand?" Tammytharn asks, curiously. She is still trying to get the others to all sit down comfortably around the fire.

She is slightly worried that Kalar has been silent for so long, and worries what might come out of his mouth once he finally opens it.

"Tammytharn." Lynda says. "Before you arrived, we attended a cursed banquet. While there, I gained this power to dissipate things with my hand. I lost the skill while the amulet was on, but now...I don't know why it's out of control!"

The ghostly growth on Lynda's hand instantly stops growing and disappears completely as she puts the amulet back on. She notices that it does not reattach to her spine as it had been before. Being able to turn the skin beneath where the amulet had been is intensely comforting.
After she listens to Lynda's explanantion of her hand, Moriamis just says, "I simply removed the curse on the item. I suppose your question means you are also a mage."

"I am a mage, yes. A Cleric of Rao." says Tammytharn. "I must say I am embarrassed that I never thought to try and cast Remove Curse myself. I suppose it is because I watched so many spells fail so spectacularly on her, I had no reason to expect that one should have gotten through the barrier-- still I embarrassed that I didn't give it a try. Curses are definitely not my area of expertise."

"With all due respect, I just want to go home. I can't speak about the evil part, but we did run into some VERY evil werewolves recently and our boy here didn't move a muscle to try to join 'em in either their orgy of violence or their orgy of orgy. He keeps weird company (no offense, ladies! I mean the dead guys!), but that can be an asset when trying to lift a powerful curse. You associate with bandits, we all do what we have to do. I appreciate you taking the time to check us out rather than ambushing us and I doubly appreciate that you've kept your clothes on. No offense to your homeland(?), but this is the most pleasant reception I've had since I've been here."

"In fact, the only truly evil thing I've heard of Kalar is that he spent 25,000 pieces of gold on a cursed sword which he then gave to a skeleton. Sounds like an innocent prank to me, but they were pretty fired up about it earlier."
