Galse had followed the skeleton as it left the room. He secured the door intot he lab with Thistlewhistle and Rachelle's statue as he left. Thankfully, the skeleton didn't seem to be in a hurry to wander around. It didn't take long for the skeleton to climb up the ladder directly towards the others despite not having that information previously.
Now Galse and the skeleton joined the others as they looked for what Kalar was calling the throne room.

"Capital idea. If you would lead the way, my dear."

Kalar follows Lynda as they explore, hoping to find some clue or the other.

The group entered the hallway and walked up tot he large double doors to one of the rooms they had not yet explored.

Lynda decides to cautiously peer in through the large double doors.

Kalar stands with his tower shield held before him, ready for whatever horror might suddenly burst through.

Lynda looks in and sees what she assumes is the throne room. The walls of this room are covered with mosaics depicting courtly scenes. The floor is polished marble. Two thrones sit atop a raised dais. At the east end of the room a red velvet carpet runs from the double doors to the thrones. A skeletal figure sits on each throne. The skeletons are dressed in rotting velvet. One skeleton holds a jeweled mace. Twenty more skeletons stand on guard, ten each along the north and south walls. The skeletons wear rusted armor and carry halberds with rusted blades. Another dozen skeletons, wearing decayed court dress, stand in front of the thrones.

"K-Kalar...!" Lynda whispers. "There's a horde of skeletons in there!"

"It's the throne room!"

Before the horde can attack, Kalar takes charge. From outside the room (he doesn't want to get swamped by those that he can't command) he holds up his holy symbol and tries to bend the skeletons to his will.

Galse will try to see what he can see. Do the skeletons seem alive? Do they seem hostile? Do they seem capable of speech? He'll whip out the quarter staff to be safe, pretty sure you can't knock a skeleton unconcious but he's definitely curious as to what's going on in here.

But nothing happens. The skeletons don't move. Only the skeleton following the party seems partially affected. "Do not do that," it says. It does not seem to have been commanded or rebuked.

Tammytharn cackles insanely and walks into the room.

Galse fumbles around getting his sap back out and gives Tammy one chance: "Say something sane or take a time-out."

Not good, and the healer is now cackling insanely.

Kalar readies his tower shield, facing Tammytharn.

"What has happened to you?"

Lynda tries to look calm.

"Tammytharn, dear, what has gotten in to you?"

THOCK! THOCK!
Galse sapped Tammytharn and Tammytharn fell limply to the ground before she could answer Lynda's and Kalar's questions.

Tammytharn 42 non-lethal damage.

"Lynda, my dear, if you could restrain her please. I fear she may have been affected by something or the other, and I would much rather not harm her if at all possible."

Kalar keeps a watch out while Lynda deals with Tammytharn.
