Talk about things that are not making games here. But you should also make games!

I would love to play D&D. I'm new to this forum, but I visit this site every day. If you don't mind I would join in. Here, in Hungary we have our local famous rpg system (M.A.G.U.S.), but I really want to try D&D.

A question, anyway, is it possible in OHR to create a D&D-like battle system? Has anyone tried to make one?

Sure thing! What kind of character are you looking to run?

As far as I know, nobody has tried. It could be scripted, but it would be far from easy.

I would like to run a dwarven fighter, if it is possible.

It sad to hear that it is so hard.

Quite possible. Will you be rolling up your own character?

As for using the OHR to do D&D, I don't think it would be hard, but it would be complicated. As all the rules are already in place, it would just be a matter of converting everything to script. It would be complicated enough that it would be impractical, but I believe it's certainly doable.

Then again, it's certainly doable for me to go swimming at the beach now in this weather (yearly typhoon season, whee!) doesn't mean it's practical, hehe.

I've just got my internet connection back, and am still interested in playing a monstrous humanoid. Maybe a gnoll mercenary? I haven't played D&D in a very long time though, so I can't really remember how to play. Can you roll it for me?

I think I need added to the group, too.

EDIT: His name should totally be Agrendaf the Hungry!

Sure thing. What class would you prefer? Barbarian? Fighter? Two-weapon human-favored-class ranger? Or should I decide?

I think a fighter would suit him well.

It delights me that Agrendaf the Hungry does not speak common :)

Just as a heads-up, it's currently Princess Berry's turn. I've decided to bring everyone in earlier.
