Seek out some Magma Cubes and kill the big ones for a shot at some Magma Cream! The Fire Resistance potions are powerful! Add some redstone, and you'll basically be able to swim in lava for eight minutes!
Oh, and by the way, the latest snapshot release allows Nether Wart to grow anywhere. Lucky you!

It's about darn time, I hate having to go to the nether and setting up a farm there. especially since I've almost never found really any soul sand before. Except on the starmen.net server, in which I found a massive field of it, and thus made it a public netherwart farm on that server.
And to Master K, I again offer bodyguard services if you desire.

If you want some soul sand, enter the Nether at the Spawn Portal. There is a cobblestone path that leads directly west. Follow it until you reach a place with a chest and a crafting table and a staircase that goes down to the north.
Follow the staircase down and at the bottom you will see a cobblestone road that runs north and south. This is my main Nether Road.
Follow it north. There is lots of fortified cover, and in the open spaces you can just dash to the next fortification and avoid ghasts altogether.
About halfway to the Portal to The Gray (not a long walk) you will find a nice big cavern with a floor that is mostly soul sand. There are a few other large soul-sand deposits visible from the Nether Road, but that is by far the easiest one to harvest.
I'll be adding some signposts soon to make the Nether Road easier to navigate.
I am about halfway done with the base for the Nether Railroad, which is located directly above the Nether Road. I haven't started the rails yet. If anyone wants to donate Iron or Gold to the cause, you can leave it in my chest in Mt James or in my chest at The Gray.

Urgh.
The Subterranean Complex is massive...I still haven't explored all of it, because I got killed trying to clear out a lava infested passageway. Lava is so stupid...it doesn't work the same as lava. Plug the water source, the water drains out...plug the lava, yet you still have to clear out the remaining lava. Ugh...

I finally explored the whole cavern. It does have some good things in it...I found a lot of excess Obsidian, so I used it for decoration. I have made a glass dome in the sky connected by a glass bridge with an obsidian crescent around it. I am also using the obsidian to pave my library's floor.
It's pretty cool. You guys should stop by sometime!

The very lowest thing showing up on the map is a lonely heart-shaped patch of ocean. I didn't notice it before, it looks so strange isolated from the rest of the map.

After zooming in, I noticed a lone stone tower. How mysterious!
I just felt like bringing that to your attention.

It's obviously Herobrine's lair.

HEROBRINE.
Seriously though, is Herobrine in game, or is he a joke, just for the paranoia? Because this is on 1.2.5's update list...
*Removed all ghost entities under the command of Lord Herobrine.
...and now I'm worried I'm gonna see Herobrine in our server one of these days.
I shall be attempting to head to this island soon. Maybe.

Did you all just stop playing recently or something? I figured, with it being summer, I'd see a lot of you online. Whatever! I recently did two things:
-Downloaded an HD texture pack (128x128) themed after LoZ: Wind Waker
-Started working on a Forest Temple* near the still unfinished (where'd Wozzeck go?) Great Library
Here, I took a picture of both of them in action!

* - "Forest" in name and location only.

That does look cool!
I have only been on a short time each day.
I recently finished the Nether Rail from the Spawn Portal to The Gray. I am calling it the "Red Line".
I also added a square of decorative columns around the spawn location. The area looks a little more welcoming now than it used to.

Well, you see sonny jim, when a mommy and daddy love each other very much....
They call the stork, but soon find out they don't have a good enough credit score and so they are denied service. Then they take years in pitiful effort attempting to work together to build up their score high enough to be allowed to have a child, but many can not take the stresses of life and part ways. Those who can endure the trials will receive the bundle of joy (as long as it isn't abducted by turtle wizards, that is) and find that it's a lot of hard work. The greatest of all parents will raise their child till the end, and they will grow up into respected members of the internets, as they make entertaining videos and/or games for all to play. The end.
Oh, uh, yeah, I've been working on AR-PUH-GUH! for a while now. And I only play minecraft at random. But mostly I've been working on my game. After I'm done, I may be on more, but one can never tell.

I kind of lost interest in minecraft altogether, after someone stole all the valuable and/or useful stuff such as iron out of the chest in my house. Then, after I built my chicken grinder offline and managed to build a farm in hardcore, I got pretty tired of minecraft. This is one of those games that will be fun to me again in about four months though, after I've taken a break.
So you guys can feel free to take the rest of my stuff or use my cabin. It's got a pretty sweet view of New Jerusalem.
