Ribbon instantly loses interest in the elf

[Bob the Hamster]

Ehaism shrugs, and when he finishes chewing and swallowing, he says:

Not as much as legs, but yes.

[Mogri]

Vire clears his throat loudly then addresses the elf.

Might I ask who you are and what your business is here?

It occurs to him that these are good questions for the tiefling to answer as well, but Vire estimates that the tiefling is too stupid to be much of a danger to them for now.

[Spoonweaver]

My name is Ebullana. I've travel from far off in search of water for my people.

[Mogri]

Vire looks around suggestively and responds,

You're in the wrong place. You'd probably be better off looking for a water source closer to home anyway.

[Spoonweaver]

Perhaps you could guide me then.

[Spoonweaver]

The party continues talking as they once again head toward the dragon hoard. Night comes and they settle in for the night.


The elfish woman doesn't say much, and only speaks when directly asked a question which she answers with as short an answer as possible.
Gregor seems to have fallen for her, but she seems to mostly have eyes for Ehaism.

[Spoonweaver]

The night passes uneventfully.

The party continues on their journey to the fabled dragon horde. The terrain seems to have gotten slightly more mountainous as they've been traveling.

[Bob the Hamster]

Ehaism rides on top of the wagon and naps whenever he can get away with it. (As difficult as napping may be considering the rough terrain the wagon is now rolling over) Ehaism feels terrible, and wants his wounds to heal as much as possible before they encounter another horrible-monster-that-will-kill-them-all.

Ehaism is completely oblivious to the attention the Elf woman is paying to him. Ehaism considers himself a great romantic-- a virile lover of many women. He loves ladies of every tail-type, scale-color, claw-structure, and sagittal-crest-shape-- in other words, he is only into Lizardkind women.

If someone sat down and explained to him feature-by-feature why she is considered beautiful by elf/human standards, and reminded him how unusual it is for a female to be wearing so little clothing outdoors, he might sort of understand, but he certainly isn't going to pick up on any hints.

[Momoka]

As the caravan is passing over rough terrain, the wagon will sometimes bounce. The concept of jumping without any conscious effort on her part intrigues Ribbon.

Whenever the wagons stop to let the oxen rest, she hunts for fish. Since they are in a desert, these hunt are unsuccessful, but are certainly fun. Before settling in for the night, she heals the others, because why not.

An attempt to leapfrog over a cactus ended in tears, so now she's mostly in the wagon, sulking. She has almost no interest in the elf anymore. Life's too cool for elves.

(Ribbon successfully healed Vire over night)

[Mogri]

Vire was not wounded, and he was very uncomfortable with Ribbon's "healing" attempts. He does not like Ribbon and he especially does not like the elf. There is nothing right about this situation and Vire makes a point of expressing that opinion loudly and frequently.

[Spoonweaver]

The convoy comes across a narrow valley, that they cross through. Mid-way through, loud clicking sounds come from the cliffs above.

[Mogri]

Vire readies his crossbow and sends Liev up to scout.

[Spoonweaver]

Liev flies up and sees 9 creatures that resemble bipedal praying mantis, complete with six limbs; lower two are used for walking, and the upper four end in four fingered clawlike hands. The have large, dangerous mandibles. compound eyes, and two small antennae sprouting from their heads. The all look ready to strike.
