Well, I'll be taking those reins back now. Come on gang, we're a little off track but not really. We'll make it to the dragon hoard ye.....t....

Gregor trails off, realizing he just exposed the parties goal to a random being in the desert. Nothing good can come of that.

[Momoka]

Ribbon lights up

OMILORD THERE'S A HORDE OF DRAGONS?!

I wanna ride one!

[Spoonweaver]

Noticing the sword the tielfing is carrying, and it's below average intellegence, Gregor decides to refill his ranks.

Well lets get you one to ride then. Follow us!

[Mogri]

Vire complains loudly.

This is a really dumb idea. You pick up just anyone you stumble across?

[Spoonweaver]

the dwarf addresses the Kobold.

How long have I known you? And for that matter, how many times have you returned my supplies to me?

The dwarf then turns back to the tielfing.

But at the same time, the kobold has a point. I mean you ARE a tiefling, wandering around in the desert alone. You answered questions about your past and how you got here very vaguely. To say you're NOT out to steal our souls is perhaps too optimistic.

[Bob the Hamster]

Ehaism picks up Gregor and shakes him a little. Gregor has clearly forgotten his place.

You have not been the leader of this expedition since the fire. You have been the emergency rations. The wagon doesn't mean you are in charge again, it means you have been promoted from emergency rations to backup emergency rations. Now go get me some food and water from the wagon.

Then in Draconic, Ehaism says to Vire:

We could use the help. Echo was a good fighter, and I am in very bad shape. Letting her go with us might be worth the risk.

[Spoonweaver]

Gregor gets Ehaism some food and water.

[Momoka]

Lizard people! Do your tails grow back if they're cut off, or is that a myth?

You wanna ride in my wagon I found? I'm chasing dragons now!

[Mogri]

Vire snarls back to Ehaism: You're right. But I don't trust him, I don't trust the ranger, and neither should you.

He stares at the tiefling warily before giving a nod of approval.

[Spoonweaver]

Liev sees another figure approaching from the south, and informs Vire. Apparently it looks like a scantly clad elven women.

[Mogri]

Someone's coming.

Vire points in the direction of the elf. Then he turns to Gregor:

I suppose you'll want to add her to the traveling band, too?

[Spoonweaver]

The elf comes within sight and you can all see that she is badly sunburned. She's wearing flowing gossamer robes and not much else. She's very beautiful and she smiles at you all.

There's always room for beauty such as hers.

The dwarf fetches food and water for the elf.

She shakes her head politely at the gesture.

[Momoka]

Ribbon is vaguely aware that she socially should be insulted by Gregor's implication that's she not a beauty, but is unable to muster up the energy to actually care. Instead, she turns her attention to the elf. There's something suspicious about so many weird people interrupting her training, but enh.

If you're looking to jump, I suggest you give up now, because I gots that handled

Kytana remains silent, looking around, then shrugging and resting on his sword.

[Bob the Hamster]

Ehaism decides to ignore the strangely silent elf that Gregor is drooling over. Vire seem alert right now. He can deal with any problems.

Ehaism climbs up on the back of the wagon to sit down and rest while he eats and drinks. He is very tired. His blistered skin and charred scales are all full of sand now. He was putting on a tough show for the dwarf, but he actually feels near-collapse.

To Ribbon, Ehaism answers:

No, my tail doesn't grow back. That is only true of weak lizardkin who run from predators. My tail is strong for balance and swimming and jumping, not for cowardice.

In reality, Ehaism's tail probably would grow back (slowly) just like almost all lizardkind, but he was taught that tail-regrowth is shameful, so he lies about it whenever asked.
