Kytana attacks, saying:
I am Kytana the third, I will defeat you, flame.

Kytana's arrow flies straight through the flaming enemy, coming out the other side slightly toasty and steaming. The Fire seems unfazed by this.

Can Ehaism pull it off, or will the Fire take another turn and potentially another victum? Stay Tuned!

Ehaism is feeling desperate. He hates that he can't think of anything to else do but to attack again with all his might.

Critapablooza!
Ehaism's Sword catches hold of the core of the fire elemental. It's fire is extinguished in an instant. Ashes shatter in the wind where the monster once stood.

Face and hands scorched, with blisters rising under his scales, covered with the mingled ashes of the monster and of Echo, Ehaism is still feeling very considerable amounts of RAGE.

This is all Gregor's fault.

Ehaism chases Gregor, intending to kill him or maybe just beat him very badly depending on how well he grovels.

If either Kytana or Vire have a strong vested interest in our new boss not being dead, this would be a great time to speak up, and loudly.

my turn

Kytana SHOUTS:
He warned us, my friend, and maybe he is not what he appears to be, so for now, let's be calm.

Vire has no vested interest in seeing the dwarf survive, though he is a little unsettled by Ehaism's rage, as always.

Kytana is shouting something. Ehaism catches the words "warned" and "friend". is Kytana the dwarf's friend? is he warning me not to hurt him?. The idea that Kytana might be friends with this filthy backstabbing dwarf makes Ehaism pretty angry, but the words "let's be calm" also sink in just enough that Ehaism grabs Gregor with his hands and tries to lift him off the ground and shake him really hard, rather than hacking at the dwarf's neck with his sword as was his original plan.

Vire on the other hand is watching with a silent interest that indicates he totally and completely approves of any and all violence against Gregor. Vire moves up a small notch in Ehaism's esteem.

And to Gregor, Ehaism shouts:

Gregor is upset. Less than a day into his journey and one of his crew has died. He's currently being screamed at by a another member of his crew, and threatened with death, while all the group's supplies run away. "Too far away to catch up to them now," he thinks. He knew this trip might cost him his life, and at this rate it'll be sooner rather than later.

He doesn't say anything in his defense, and he doesn't put up much of a fight.

Gregor seems to have just gone limp. The dwarf is failing to protest his innocence, which Ehaism interprets as a ringing admission of guilt... But shaking someone who isn't fighting back gets boring really fast.

Ehaism stop shaking for a second, looks Gregor in the eyes, and then flings him down in disgust. Pitiful. In. Gesture of mercy, Ehaism does not fling in the direction of the nearest cactus.

The day drags on. The party slowly wanders in the direction the wagons ran to in hopes of reaching their supplies at some point. Hours pass with no hope of salvation.

Then, just as the party starts to contemplate eating Gregor, the wagons appear over the horizon. It doesn't take long to notice a tiefling is leading the oxen. The party picks up it's pace to meet the envoy and is within shouting distance in no time.

Ehaism is surprised and confused to see the wagon. He had mistakenly assumed that the party was walking back to Dunderstank to find something less suicidal to do with their time. He would NEVER have agreed to continue into the desert and search for the wagon, and now that he realizes that is what has happened, he is very angry-- but he keeps quiet about his rage and confusion because he is also very embarrassed about walking in the opposite direction than he thought he was for so long without noticing.

Ribbon looks at the dwarf in shock. The idea that these oxen had an owner instead of spontaneously generating had not occurred to her.
