Hey, it's been a while! I ended up dusting off one of my old, unfinished sprites and completed it today.

It's something I envisioned as being a cross between the Goetic Buer and the Biblical Cherub (the kind described in Ezekiel, not that naked baby stuff). Feathers and hair are kind of a pain in the slime, so I'm pretty satisfied with how this turned out. If I start spriting more again, I'll post whatever new things I produce.

Thought of Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia series when I saw that.

Looks awesome though! Very nice job on the shading! :)

Pheonix: I like the grass tiles. It looks like it has ferns growing in it. I am curious to see how it will mix with whatever trees/roots you have planned.

Out of curiosity, did you place all of those manually? Or do you have a script that randomly places the different grass tiles?

Manually...
[The fact that there's now the ability to actually select more than one tile at once is really useful]

Cripes. Must have been a pain to do, even with the ability to select more than one tile. Still, kudos to you for your perseverance.

Because I'm a sucker for punishment, I decided to replay "A Wizard's life" and ended up doing some better enemy graphics for the giant squirrel. (Why, younger me, WHY?!)
