Been practicing with trees:

The trunk was mostly slapped together, as I was focusing on getting leaves to look good with this exercise.

Not sure if I'll actually use this style in Legacy. Still, it's good practice.

lookin' smecksy. Reminds me of a dream I had the other day where I used enemy sprites to play as foreground objects in my games. I may use this dream to my advantage...

New barrels:

Been reading up on a bunch of pixel art tutorials, and am improving the weaker parts of my tilemaps. Basically bringing everything up to the same level of quality that I want.

Oh? What tutorials? Meowskivich could use some improvement on his skill, he's still not very dandy on this shading thing.

Mostly going over tsugumo's again, definitely one of the better tutorials out there. Going over the stuff he's talked about after gaining some experience is actually still helpful. Particularly the stuff about sel-out and shading.

Here's a screenshot from my current project.

Not too sure I like the stove-top, but I haven't had much luck trying to make it look like the damn thing's not STARING at me! :c

Put a third burner in the middle. Then even though it might still look like it's staring, it would be a triclops.

Here some character graphics I'm working on for my game. After finding out how easy the embiggen heroes/NPC's script was, I decided to implement it.

Also can anyone give me a rundown on how you post pictures in the forum... I'm having difficulties and will post links for now.

Select the link text and hit the Img button above the box of the body of your message. You have to make sure you're linking directly to the image itself and not just a page that the image happens to be on.

So, your links for the images would be:

Code: Select all

http://ih3.redbubble.net/image.14983609.4491/flat,550x550,075,f.jpg
http://ih1.redbubble.net/image.14983644.4518/flat,550x550,075,f.jpg
And to make them appear as images would be:

Code: Select all

Edit: However, the site you're using makes it silly to find a direct link to your images (right click, view image won't work - i had to dig through the page's code for it). You'll have to use a site like Photobucket or Postimg if you want an easier solution.
