I wouldn't worry about the orange, it makes it look like the cooled magma around his head is cracked and revealing the molten lava beneath. I assume that's the intention, and that's what I first thought when I saw it. Other than that, I have to agree with the above statement in repeating that it is indeed awesome.

Thanks for the nice comments :D I guess I'll stop worrying too much about how it looks like and move on ( got 2 more dragon heads to draw)

A bit of an upgrade to the judges' table at the Bierpalast von Hans Stinkman from my recently-released game Teekee.

The judges' table is now clearly marked. And it seems pretty obvious which chair is the important one now, doesn't it?

That is a great change to the game. I will admit that as much as I liked that game, that I did spend a while wandering around where to go at that point. So that will help future players for sure.

I've been working hard to improve my pixeling skills.
I need more praise to power my progress.

@Spoonweaver: That looks incredibly good! I like the jump animation a lot. I think the best part is the surroundings like the mushrooms and bushy stuff. The bushes remind me of Super Mario World.

I totally get why the mushrooms are that way, but them being so blocky does seem very odd when everything else looks so smooth and great. I got the privilege of playing a tech demo, but I didn't get to see any spells used. Looking forward to seeing those in action!

Looks great! I thought you were doing another game prior that looked really neat, what happened to that?

Well, the original game idea was ambitious beyond my ability level and is on hold until I figure out the things I need to know to make it happen. I still think about it and keep notes regarding how I want it all to play out.

The second game (the one with posted images) was sort of a miniature test game. I aim to make it playable at some point, but right now that project more closely resembles a sketchpad or notebook where I test out ideas to try and learn OHR. Doesn't "play" like a "game" at the moment.

The X-Men thing is a new idea that I intend to use so I can practice learning how to make a short, functional RPG. I think I can tell a condensed version of the first 20 or so issues of X-Men using only about 3 boss battles and a handful of smaller skirmishes. If I can pull that off, I'll probably have more confidence going forward with my original idea.
