Couple of weeks ago, I was determined to get some real work done on my game. I made myself sit down and draw map tiles for one of the early dungeon areas. It was hard as hell and I felt like I was smashing my head into a brick wall for the first couple days of the 3 day weekend, but I just persevered, and gradually I started making things work. Then I started actually enjoying it and having fun with it.
Result after two weeks:
Now I'm working on my game for several hours every day again. Feels so damn good. I've got a lot of work to do if I want to finish this game, but at least now I can believe in my ability to keep making it happen, even after months of depression and burnout.

I feel you bro. Had the same thing with The Pumpkin Warriors and now I'm working on it again. I really like how you improved the graphics I think the cave walls look way better than before. Well done!

All I could think of when I saw that one was why is it not called Dino-Sour?

@Foxely: I think those spikes are a bit hard on the eyes. I suggest making them either a dimmer colour or just making them single large spikes rather than a set a four. Everything else looks very cool though, I'm really liking the graphics otherwise.

Thanks. I pride myself on my pun-making and word play abilities. I try to come up with at least one pun a day. You can definitely use that to name your enemy if you want.

May I also suggest HEAL 9000 for Healtron? *dodges tomatoes*

Hehehe. I do like that better than Healtron. I think I'd personally call it Mend-droid as in to mend a wound and droid. Though I'm not sure if it's really that good.

I love the look of this art style.
Something about it keeps reminding me of <a href="

I still need to create some collision detection code for it but I got this Zelda style boomerang working for the most part:

Looks pretty rad. Also, when writing the collision detection for Crusty's, I discovered that the 'slice collide' command makes it infinitely simpler than I thought it was going to be.

That command (and its brother FindCollidingSlice) are two of my favorite things ever implemented.
EDIT: And oh slime, just checked out the vid! That did turn out pretty rad!
