That is some fantastic map work!

So many non-rectangular curves!

I've decided since I need new NPCs for a cutscene. All new requests to be NPCs will instead be goth kids. Can't divulge more than that without ruining the story unfortunately. IF you want your name featured in the credits I need you to PM me your real name. I haven't been using screen names in the credits and don't particularly want to.

I accidentally entered my real name as my screen name the first time I joined a forum and wound up trying to live it down for years before eventually resigning to just use my real name anyway.

Hey everyone, big news... The Axe Cop game is going VERY WELL. I have the ending credits and the ending done and all content leading up to the final dungeon done.

It means all I have left is the final dungeon, the final boss fights, and that's it.

I'm in the middle of testing the whole game to find obvious bugs before it goes through a final round of testing. I have a few of you already signed up for playtesting, and thank you for that, but to anyone else who hasn't volunteered in Discord, you are welcome to but you need to let me know.

I plan on giving free Steam keys to those who want them when the game is done for Heart of the OHR playing. But outside of that contest, because it is a game where Soda Piggy and I have to share profits with the older brother of Axe Cop, it will not be free. We're planning to sell it at $9.99. IF you play this demo all the way through to the end, I will get you the final copy privately for free.

If I had to guess, I'd say the final game will have about 13+ hours of content total.

It's been a very long, and very productive month, but Rue has finished playing the 90% build of the game. Bena is almost there. Rue logged over 118 issues/complaints, all of which I didn't even see on my last playthrough. Not to discredit Bena's playing on Discord, but Rue definitely put the game through the ringer and helped make it better.

Watching Bena play has allowed me to have the conversation to think about how to improve certain mechanics or features to make sure the game is as clear as possible for the player to avoid anyone rage quitting or getting lost.

Both of them have been invaluable to the production of the game and I just want to publicly thank them. They're definitely in the end credits of the game and all, and will be rewarded (better than a Spoon box, unless Bena wants a Spoonweaver styled box of stuff).

Screenshot just shows a save point in an area that I didn't have one that Rue suggested. Nothing significant as a reveal besides it being the last issue I cleared on his bug list.

Thanks Rue and Bena!

To be fair, we were both looking for different things, too. I was exclusively looking to break it, and Bena is mostly looking to give feedback. Also, Bena almost had to play builds _after_ I got to them.

It can be hard to endure the scrutiny, but playtester feedback is often 1000% more powerful than you expect going into the process, no matter how many times you've gone through it. Overall it's a very entertaining game and deserves to be put on a pedestal, not just as an OHR game but as a game. Good job, buddy! Good job.

I'm not that familiar with this franchise outside of a couple of Animation Domination short cartoons, but if the playable characters include "Bat Pumbaa" and that cool iguana guy, then I'm interested in playing. Always love seeing outlandish non-human playable characters like that.

Well guess I haven't posted on the forums about Axe Cop cause I was too busy finishing it. As of tonight all content is ready for release. We'll be submitting the game to the various storefronts to queue them up for the Thanksgiving release date on Monday when I get last of music and sounds that the fellahs are working on. I'm very happy with the final boss, the way the story concludes, all the threads and arcs. I feel very confident, proud and satisfied in the game I created for this franchise!

It's a little old, but we did make a corny video about the release date. Our final trailer is being worked on with some custom animations we outsourced.

I've released a public playthrough today in anticipation of the release. I figure most of us here will play it at some point, so the video's probably not that important here, but it never hurts to support RMZ by watching the video and improving its visibility.

Assuming that's how YouTube works.

I don't know. Just watch the video and give it some likes and get this game some exposure!

If you want, of course. I'm not your dad.

For anybody who wants to play the game that is a valid member of the community, you will always get a free pass to my games if you ever want them. Please private message me here or on Discord and ask for one. I'd like everyone to have a fair chance at playing the game for Heart of the OHR and not have to pay to participate. That's not what our community was built around.

I'm also doing a series of Let's Play videos on twitch every night until I've 100%ed the game... (again). I post them up on the RTG youtube channel afterwards for anyone who missed them. I talk about the production of the game, decisions behind things that are in it, etc.

I don't think I am a big enough part of this community to get a free copy. The only thing I have released is an edit of someone else's game, and even though I've gotten ideas for an RPG, I haven't jumped on one yet. Part of it is because I don't like using a computer mouse to draw graphics. That being said, I am interested in the game. Maybe I will buy it one day.
