Who wants their game Let's Played?

Post by Shadowiii »

So for those of you who don't know, my revived my channel as an unfunny Let's Play channel.
http://youtube.com/nathanvsvideogames
I've been mostly doing old PC games or indie games, and then I thought to myself: why not do more OHR games? You guys did pretty good and your games are pretty good. Also they're old (looking)!
I've already started C. Kane with intent to finish (my footage ate itself so I have to start the game over, boo) and will be doing Wandering Hamster shortly. However, if you'd like me to run through your game I'd be more than happy to do it! Free promotion, right? (I'll link a DL to your game).
A few things I want from you if you want me to play it on video:

- Name
- Whether it's a demo or finished
- How long it is (assuming I finish it)
- Download link (I'm too lazy to search the gamelist)

One last thing: I will riff on your game. Mostly nicely (I understand games are hard to make), but if you send me your "noob" game, it'll probably get teased a bit. Just be aware. But if it's a game you know sucks and you WANT me to make fun of it...we gonna have a good time.

Lastly, depending on amount of responses this gets, I may or may not be able to do them all. Also, I'm already a month backlogged in terms of video scheduling, so you probably won't see it until March at the earliest (unless you really need it out sooner for whatever reason, and we can talk).

Thanks all!

Ooh! I would love to have Lets Plays of the new releases of Don't Eat Soap and Crypt of Baconthulhu (perhaps even more than I want to see Wandering Hamster)

I'd love to watch an LP of Alice is Trapped. It's as finished as it's going to be and about half an hour long.

And here are links to James's games because you should LP those too:

Crypt of Baconthulhu (1-2 hours?): http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?t=1900

I'll second Spellshard. It's a finished game, and let's assume that it's 20 hours long if you finish it. It takes around 3-4 hours to get to the Desert World, which is where you will most likely quit the game out of frustration.

Spellshard! At some point, I would like to play through Spellshard again. I like it better than the classic games it emulates.

The desert isn't so bad.

Are you still planning on doing this, Nathan? I already follow your channel, so I'm looking forward to it.

I don't think Shadowii is coming back.
Maybe someone else here should just do some let's plays.

Looks like he's recently done Wandering Hamster. There are two additional parts as of right now besides the one linked below:

After I saw he had uploaded part 1 I realized that I was sitting on 3 years worth of un-uploaded bugfixes and small improvements to Wandering Hamster. I uploaded them this weekend-- too Late for his Let's Play, but for the benefit of anybody else who has the urge to re-play
