Medieval-ish feel would be just fine. Looking forward to hearing what you come up with.

My offer still stands for the Victory piece. Let me know if you are interested in doing it.

I'M UP FOR HIRE!

I can do your graphics for you:

Why would I do that:
As of lately, I have had plenty of time to work on my game. I have been focusing mainly on coding since the graphics will come later. As a result of this I am getting very anxious to practice making graphics. Thus I have decided to lend out a helping hand to those whom want my help.

My conditions for hire:
1) The game you want me to design graphics for must already be a complete game from start to finish.

2) You must give me time to play through your game so I understand the concept and length, this way I'll know if it seems like a feasible project for me to work on.

3) You must be accepting of however I interpret the art for your game. Of course I will be open to critique and advice.

4) You must agree to release your game for purchase, and pay me 10% of the profit. I think that seems fair, but I am up for other agreements if you want to do so. (You can keep your original game free to download too since it's completely your right to do so.)

5) You must display my name or logo in the credits. (I don't have a logo but might make one.)

6) All of the graphics which I create will remain my property. This is mainly because I want to build up an online portfolio and show off all the different pixel art I have created.

Furthermore:
I will only work on one persons game at a time, and see it through to completion. I will accept requests from anyone who asks me via email. I will have a brief waiting period to take in requests and then decide which game feels like a good match with my style.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while; I've been busy over the summer. I'm open to work as a composer.

I was thinking of possibly enrolling you in a project of mine but after fully reading over your post I noticed 2 major flaws that stopped me from offering the project I had in mind to you, and also that will like stop basically everyone here from responding, so I figured I'd share.

First, there's been a bit of discussion about the actual number of "complete" ohr games that actually exist. To say the least, there aren't many. Of the ones that do exist, I find it fairly unlikely that the makers will come forward and enroll someone in their project after the fact. I'm not saying it's impossible, I can think of a few complete ohr games that would benefit highly from your offer, however I don't think it's going to happen. Mostly because the people that would benefit from your offer the most have left the community.

Second, selling your game is tough work. One of if not the most successful ohr game, as far as sales goes, is C. Kane and it was featured on Kotaku (something unlikely to happen for this new project). Even then, 10% of that project would have only banked you around 25 bucks or so. That said, 10% is still actually too high considering the large amount of work involved in marketing and such. Things like putting your game up on Google Play aren't free.

Lastly, I'm a bit surprised that some of the requests and offers on this thread don't pair up.

@Spoonweaver: You bring up a good point. And the more I look at it, the more I agree. I'm intrigued to know what your game idea is that you were considering hiring on for? I'm sure we could come to an agreement that's a lot more reasonable, I'm not too picky.

I was considering asking you to work on Super Penguin Chef before I saw that first proviso.

Yes, my original conditions were too harsh. I'm still available for work under any conditions which are offered, in which I see fit. I suppose to be fair though, I will await Spoonweavers response first. I think I'd owe it to him to consider his game idea first.

Heh, actually go ahead and do Mogri's game. I was honestly surprised you two didn't notice that you had 2 sides of the same project posted on the thread.

But just to explain, I had a couple ideas for you. Most of which were silly things like asking you to redo the graphics for technoship funkotron. However, There are a couple games I've done where the artist I was working with has bailed. A game called Last Man Standing is the best example. It's basically a Zombie Based Zelda-like that's got a lot of development in it but I can't really progress because Blue Train has vanished from the internet. The same goes for Indigo. But these games aren't totally complete so they didn't fall into your conditions.

Was Indigo that cool side-scroller demo for [I can't remember which] contest?

EDIT: answered my own question: Yes it was

@Mogri: Well there you have it. I am now available, and will hear you out on whatever game-art implementations you need completed.

@Spoonweaver: I really like the idea of the Last Man Standing. I may get back to you about working on this in the future. My conditions are officially eliminated.
