Pepsi: That is all awsome! I hope you find a singer to do the Cherry Chicklet lines.

Does anyone know how to get this to work? I tried to do this logically, and it didn't work.
The first thing to check is to see if the tag is really getting turned on. Unfortunately the F4 tag debug screen won't work in battle, but try using the item on him, and check after the battle to see if it is on.

The next thing to check is the conditional on the instead-chain. What happens if you change it to always happen, regardless of the tag?

Also, regarding the running away, does he actually have a self-targeted attack that is supposed to make him run away? Or is the running totally crazy?

I did extensive testing, trust me, haha. Throwing the item, sets tag 180 on. The dinosaur is supposed to do his new move if the tag is on. I tested it with it doing it with no conditionals, and it does in fact set it to the new move. And it doesn't make the dinosaur run away, it's a Roar move where it forces the heroes to run away. Everything works except the tag part. When I get out of battle, tag 180 is set for on.

I had a similar problem in Duck. It seems sometimes attacks setting tags just fails period, and I can't think of any specific reason it's doing so. It just randomly fails to work.

Maybe I should make the tag debug screen work in battle. That should help narrow down the problem.

I'm currently working on a nameless game. I'd like to think it's similar to my brother's "Tales of the New World" except worse in most respects haha. I used to bash my brother about his graphics until I tried to draw with them. Anyhow, it'll be a FF-style RPG so I hope you enjoy it whenever I spend time figuring out how to download a demo (though I'm not that far into the game yet to be worth downloading anyways).

Whatever you are working on, Mogri, it looks very roguelike! I am excited!

I thought it was phantom tactics but now I'm not so sure....

The filenames are just dungeon.png and variants thereof, and the sprites are so small, I can't figure out anything to unravel the identity of this game!

The only link to PTactics I see is that pirate guy in the first picture, who looks like a cross between the former Pirate and Theif classes.

What really baffles me about Mogri's screenshots is the low pixel count on the guys. Either he's doing it on purpose to create an old timey feel, or those npcs are alot smaller then the 20x20 we're used to.
