Okay, time for today's Phantom Tactics update. I spent today ironing out the last of the animations that you'll see in the demo. I had planned on discussing a different class today, but it turns out it's less work to show you a gameplay video. So here it is:
Big important notice: If you have had problems getting Phantom Tactics to run correctly, you should download the latest nightly. I carelessly forgot to include an executable and I suspect that the game is not compatible with the Xocolatl+2 release.
Then again, no one has commented on the demo either way.

I've been having it randomly crashing sometimes, is this why?

Perhaps. What OS are you using? It crashes for me in Vista; this is a sound-related crash. If you're using Vista, I recommend downloading the no-sound nightly.
It works fine in XP, though, so if you're running XP, just grab the regular nightly.

We really desperately need a new stable release. I think the current nightlies are more stable than xocolatl+2

Moogs persuaded me to play Phantom Tactics.
First of all, it's visually great. I know some of these aren't even the final graphics, but the way it animates is fantastic. The way the characters look when they are about to attack, all DBZ like where they sort of have the lines where they used to be. Very classy. Artistically, amazing job Twin, I look forward to a lot more. Moogs, I think this is easily your most impressive game concept.
Keep up the great work fellahs, you guys make a legitimate update besides the tech demo and it'll secure your spot on the Top 30 and Game of the Year categories.
I wish more people thought outside the box like this.

Can you travel back in time to change it's greatest hits into techno music?
Chuck Norris, says, "Guns don't kill people, that's why I use my fists."
Ive still got some tweaking to do but that should be done by saterday.
Played 'Light fight' and 'Phantom Tactics'...very cool.

Phantom Tactics: Cool time! I almost met the challenge too, but the last Bandit got my Bowman with his dying turn. Can't wait to see the full release!
New-Gen: Looks cool, but is it meeting the color limits? It looks like it could be bending them a little at parts, but I can't ee close enough to tell.

I've had enough promoting my 8-bit game for a while, but here's a YouTube video of something else I've been working on.
