Well, I don't know if I can still speak in this publication, but discarded games I have done several projects that did not convince me.
An anthropomorphic squirrel game with a villain who wanted to return the world to the stone age. the game is called Novum.
A game where we would be in an abandoned hospital in 1945 where we discovered Dr. Matalozano's horrible experiments. We would discover the story through newspaper clippings. I discarded the idea for being similar to a popular horror game with a bear as the antagonist, but I reused the idea for the next discarded game that I will mention.
A game where we control a square and white being with a smile and sad eyes called conscience. the scenarios were mostly purple, brown and black and the story of a young man who dies from drug overdose would be told ...
This game would be a precursor to Deception Tale, I also used some code from another canceled game called Puzzle Arcade; Which we can see how it would be in a part of the game controlling a tile with buttons.
Puzzle Arcade was very monotonous to me.
I was also making a virtual pet but I scrapped the idea by not convincing myself and seeing that there would be a contest.
I'm working on "Mini RPG" and a game about a sugar addicted bunny.
I also want to make a fan game of Legacy of Flan and other things

Play Katja's Abyss!
https://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?p=136956
I've talked about it a lot on Discord, but not much here. I've been working on Katja's Abyss: Tactics for several months now (previously called Minesweeper Tactics). Since the tutorial is finally substantial enough to properly demonstrate the mechanics, it's a good time to start getting more playtesters. Feeling pretty proud about the momentum of this game, even if the campaign and balance of infinite mode is a little iffy.
Of course, there are bugs that I haven't found, so I need help! If you break the game hard enough, I'll put your name in the credits. If you take the time to play through the whole campaign, be warned that the win conditions on some levels might not work as intended and prevent you from progressing. If a level is too hard.... well, I want to know about that too.
In the near future, Katja's Abyss will need a sprite artist to replace the animated sprites in the game. I'm working with a UI artist currently and have discussed with another artist about redoing the maptiles. This will be a paid gig, so if you're interested in making ~10-15 walkabouts for mining units, PM me your rates and portfolio. Debating whether the game will need a backdrop artist, as well, for ending cutscenes, etc.

I've got a little project in the works. Here me out on this, it's a simple, straightforward turn-based RPG consisting of a single town, a small overworld area, and a dungeon with a bad guy at the end.
However, the entire game's UI is done with font icons but not written words. A no-text RPG, aside from the numbers (hiding numbers just feels like it'd give too little feedback).
There's a single sword in the game, consisting of the default font's sword icon. A single axe, likewise. The basic healing spell is indicated by a heart icon, the stronger version by two heart icons, the strongest area of effect attack spell by a whopping eight fireball icons, and so on.
Instead of my usual penchant for pun-laden monster names, every monster has no name indicator, just its appearance.

Remeber: God made you special and he loves you very much. Bye!
