For Rachelle and Voulton:
You can buy anything in the DMG under 10,000 gp at the temple. Also, anything under 50,000 can be crafted, but you'll have to figure out how long it will take to craft the item and then wait that long in game for your item. This is assuming you actually want to buy anything, or even have the money to do so.

I'm glad you like it.
If you know how, feel free to add levels to your mouse. You can be up to 11th level. Otherwise, I may or may not level you myself. Depends on what you do and such.
A bit of plot:
Your talking mouse is currently in a temple with 2 members of the adventuring party, Rachelle and Voulton (played by Gizmog and Pheonix). You can introduce yourself to them and attempt to join the campaign at any time you wish. However, try to do so before they leave the temple. Otherwise, you might not be able to meet up with them.

Just went back to check. When Kalar first controlled them and had that run-in with Dispater, he started out with 5 (50 HD)
Then he had to release one for Bill (10 HD), bringing it down to 4. He had to release one, because each bloodhulk is worth 10 HD, and he can animate 44 HD and control 11 HD of undead.
One was just destroyed by the wraith-thingy, so he's down to three now. Unless I missed something somewhere?

Yeah, I don't really understand the system so I don't think I'll be able to do any leveling. I couldn't build my first character concept because the feats from the online SRD alone left me with choice paralysis, much less making equipment choices.Spoonweaver wrote:

Appropriately small talking mouse is not at all an optimized adventurer concept, but it is one that I can play.

Oh, and I completely forgot about a replacement magic item. Kalar will go with a second glove of healing, but one that's a bit more powerful than Kalar's. Should be useful for either Voulton or Rachelle, as they're both front-line fighters.
Glove of Healing
Upon using the command word "mani", this glove heals 1d8+1 points of damage. In addition, once a day, it can cast lesser restoration as per the spell.
Spell Used: Restoration, Lesser
Spell Level: 2
Caster Level: Lowered to 3
Spell Used: Cure Light Wounds
Spell Level: 1
Caster Level: Lowered to 1
Command word: 2 (spell level) × 3 (caster level) × 1,800 gp = 10,800 gp (Restoration, Lesser)
Charges per day: 10,800 gp / (5 / 1 charges per day) = 2,160 gp (Restoration, Lesser)
Command word: 1 (spell level) × 1 (caster level) × 1,800 gp = 1,800 gp (Cure Light Wounds)
Add to existing (+50% of price): 1,800 gp × 1.5 = 2,700 gp (Cure Light Wounds)
Final Cost: 4,860 gp & 194 xp (5 days)
EDIT: Also, if I calculated correctly, so far Kalar has one day's worth of work done on the item?

Just to double check, is everyone following behind Kalar?
EDIT: Going to just assume yes for the most part.

Mirror image. As far as my understanding of the spell goes. no you can't have them pass through allied, however that's no the same as passing through an allied space, which you can do. They can pass through enemy spaces too but incur attacks of opportunities.
@BMR:
I made a semi big mistake and if you'd like to change your actions slightly based on it I would understand. I've been describing the creature as wraith like when I should have been saying wight like. I apologize for my mistake. The picture for it's entry threw me off.

Hmm, wight-like... Nah, I'll still go for it. Kalar's immune to disease, ability damage, negative energy effects, negative levels, etc... so it might still be doable. As for the physical attacks, I'll just have to rely on Kalar's high AC and DR for this fight. But at first sign of the beholder, Kalar's getting out of there.
Also, Rob might want to cast Heroism on someone else. Morale bonuses don't work on Kalar, I believe.

Might be gone most of the day tomorrow, so going to post my next action, just in case.
After casting searing light (next round), and assuming the bloodhulks are still able to hold back the wights, Kalar will use his Holy Symbol of Animation (the one he enchanted) to animate all of the bodies in the room into zombies (next next round). I believe it's doable in one turn, as it only takes a standard action to activate the item.
I don't think Kalar can control them all, but they would provide some distraction to the wights, I guess.
Kalar still has slots for:
12 HD (animate dead)
1 HD (rebuke/command)
7 level 1 followers (leadership)
If, however, one of the bloodhulks goes down, Summon Undead III to get an ogre zombie to replace the bloodhulk, and then proceed with the animation of the zombies in the next next next round.
If more than one bloodhulks goes down, he'll Summon Undead III to get an ogre zombie, and then move in for melee with his sword (+6/+1 1d8+3) while using Combat Expertise (AC 38).

So, I crunched numbers. If no one wants the other items, we should be able to get around this much for the stuff we found:
We can divide that gold up so that everyone can buy whatever, or we can just have Kalar make more goodies. Whatever works for the party.
- Buckler +1 - 1,015 gp Sells for: 507 gp
- Darkwood Shield +1 - 1,100 gp Sells for: 550 gp
- Heavy Steel Shield +2 - 4,020 gp Sells for: 2,010 gp
- Heavy Steel Shield Bashing - 1,020 gp Sells for: 510 gp
- Studded Leather +1 - 1,025 gp Sells for: 512 gp
