Incidentally, I think Lynda still has the masterwork thieves' tools that Kalar gave to her.

Fun fact: I refreshed THREE TIMES before push-drop and rolling Rob. And still somehow he ducked before I did it! Oh the embarassment!

Someone posting while you are typing that contradicts your post is a killer for sure.

Hey, Spoonweaver! If Claire de Alerouge, Duchess of House Alerouge of La Frenaie sticks around long enough, Rob will be asking her if she knows his Mom.

Can I make up a name and a house name for Rob's Mom? or would you like to give me names?

Ah, I didn't notice that you had not already named your mother's house. Well, I'll have to put some restrictions on it so it would make sense for Rob to be basically ignored by his family and allowed to be out adventuring and singing in bars and such. Such as, you're a bastard, clearly. Your mother also married into the Bernard family when you were 12 and though you were not exiled, you were never fully accepted. You have two younger half sisters and a younger half brother from your mother's new family. You visit your mother from time to time but never feel at home there.

"Oh, don't get me started on those irritating little brats. Definitely my stepfather's children through and through. It doesn't help that Mother spoiled them rotten."

Rob of course is being dramatic. His siblings aren't any worse than typical Averiogne nobles.

Rob's Mother = Lady Nina Anne Bernard of the Vyones Bernards (age 59)

Reasonably well known in social circles for throwing good parties and for being a very talented artist, but not much respected by anyone in the important houses due to her scandalous illegitimate eldest son, and pretty much shunned by the other Bernards after the death of her husband-- unless she is throwing a party or selling a painting. Then everybody is her friend for a week or two until the party is over or the painting is sold. Not a very happy lady. She is a loving mother to her four children, but she treats her legitimate children a lot differently than she treats Rob.

Rob's Step Father = Lord Ferdinand Calixte Bernard of the Vyones Bernards (deceased at age 66, 18 years ago)

A real piece of work, in Rob's opinion, and prone to violence. Fortunately for Rob, he wasn't home much. Died many years ago in a duel of honor over something stupid.

Rob's half-siblings (on his mother's side) = Therese Anne De Valintin nee Bernard (age 27), Marcellin Bernard (age 25), Luce Alix Bernard (age 22)

Rob's half-siblings (on his father's side) = gods only know

Would I be correct that Lynda putting on the periapt would grant her access to spellcasting when she doesn't have the amulet on?

Currently, Lynda's Wis is 9, with the periapt, it becomes 13.

So if she's 11th level now, then she can cast 2 first level spells, 1 second level spell, and 1 third level spell.

Unless the amulet completely wipes out any prepared spells, that is.

Edit: MasterK, the chalice it's already in Bill's saddlebags, where Kalar plans to keep it until it can be sold for gold to turn into magic items. However, I guess I'd you want Lynda to make a grab for it while Kalar's skellies are handling the goods, go ahead =p

I can roll some dice if there is a question as to who grabbed what first. Kalar would have the advantage in that since his skeletons were the ones that opened the chest, but it wouldn't automatically mean he got it first. So let me know.
There's also the option to simply fight over it in character.
:V

Also, yes I'd allow the magical increase in wisdom to grant spell casting to Lynda. HOWEVER, she'd loss her spells if she put on her magic nullifying amulet, since it would suppress the bonus to wisdom.

Possible. And if she is, then she might very well have a means of masking her alignment from divination.

So for now, Spoon takes control over Lynda where needed? Or would you prefer that Lynda just remain silent and unresponsive outside of combat? Or something else?
