You've already got a +6 sword and a +2 ring of protection.
You must control yourself!
I'd recommend the Mithral chain shirt (is it even magic?) if you don't have anything lighter. Mithral fullplate is probably the best armor a barbarian can find.

As far as shopping goes:
Since you'll be teleporting, keep in mind that you can only buy and bring back items that you can carry.
You are able to buy any MINOR item from the Dungeon Master's Guide at base price.
Items of Meduim strength can be found buy at double base cost.
Major Items can be bought for 4 times their base value.
These extra costs represent the orders you have to put in for the item to be found for you, or for it to be made.
You can selling any item for 40% it's base price. I'm going to forgo haggling for now, mostly just to simplify things. If there's a certain large items you wish to hold off and haggle for, then I'll be willing to do that, but keep in mind you might end up getting less then the 40%.
The gems. The normal ones can be sold for 100gold each.
The 3 large ones can be sold for 10,000 gold each.
Let me know if you have any questions and tell me when you are ready for chapter 2.

I am really super-fuzzy on how armor works at all.
<s>So My understanding of a Mithral shirt is that it is effectively just a half-weight iron shirt. Because chains shirts are already in the lightest armor group, there isn't a big advantage to a mithral one.</s>
EDIT: nevermind, found this
Wearing it would mean:
4 armor bonus
6 max dex bonus (I don't know what this means)
no armor check bonus (same as naked?)
No speed penalty
10 lbs of carried wieght.
10% arcane spell failure

About the next chapter: Should we be equipping ourselves for a "Assassinate Lord Neil" mission? or for a "Conquer the Whole Dang City" mission? Or something else entirely?
EDIT: also, having some trouble figuring out which items are minor, which are medium, and which are major

Well the next move is kind of up to you guys. I can't really force you guys out of that cave, and you have the means to live in there for, well, ever!
So maybe each of you should list some personal goals your characters have.
Also, I'm worried about the absence of Ribbon, err.. Momoka. I guess he's basically gone at this point.
Oh, but as far as taking on the whole city or taking on only Lord Neil, let me give you a bit of background on that.
You don't know where Lord Neil is. He's said you be somewhere in his tower, but that thing is massive. The only ways to enter the tower are through the main entrance which is guarded by dozens of templars day and night, and through the underground, which is said to be where Lord Neil keeps all his prisoners. None have ever have returned from this pits of death so there might not really be an entrance down there.
So again, the choice is really yours.

If I'm not mistaken, we've leveled up again.
Also, you need to identify my potion and rapier.

Did I level up? I added my XP for stomping the monster... can't remember if I did for the ogres/giant battle before.
Shopping around, I like the look of Wings of Flying which seem super fun, but I don't know if that price is 54,000 or 54,000 x 2 or 54,000 x 4
I am also curious how flying would interact with Ehaism's existing combat abilities. Would I be able to perform improved bull rush while flying?
Also I think Boots of Speed look pretty dang awesome. But is that price 12,000 or 12,000 x 2 or 12,000 x 4?
Or maybe Belt of Giant Strength? Or something along those lines?
Also, is it possible to add additional banes to an already-existing magical sword?
As for the next chapter, I suggest that after our shopping spree, we throw a little party to celebrate at a nice inn in a nice part of Dunderstank. Maybe some of Neil's Templars notice we are showing off our wealth, give us a hard time. Then we see what develops naturally
EDIT: oh yes, and speaking of item identification, Ehaism is still carrying two unidentified gems that he found in the chest on the balcony in the house we squatted in the night before we met Gregor. (this is like a millionaire worrying about the coins he found in the couch cushions, but still)

Oh, sorry about forgetting the rapier. I fixed it in the post. It's a ghost touch rapier.
The gems can be sold for the same value as the ones found in the dragon horde. They are not magical.
As far as the item grade of the items you mentioned. Use the charts found here.
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#
does that clear up what I mean?
Also, some of the items cross over and can be both minor and medium, and such. in those cases use the lower of the grades.
for example: A Adamantine battleaxe ( found here ) is in both the minor and the medium category. You could go with minor. Meaning an Adamantine battleaxe is 3,010 gp.
and just to answer your question, Wings of Flying wound be x4. and Boots of speed would be x2.
orgre power belts come in many different versions and so it would matter which one you got.
