Logistically, the ceiling of the cavern would be a limiting factor unless the subject also had a good run speed (which Vire does not).

That said, I totally need to learn Jump and Feather Fall, then cast them and Haste for maximum bounciness.

Oops! Haha! I was thinking that each square was 10 feet, so I thought it was a 32 to 34 foot chasm.

boots technically don't count as armor, correct? i'd like to think that would be something Lao could make use of without getting a penalty.

only armor counts as armor. Helmets, boots, gauntlets, and all manner of cloaks are all fair game.
