The quote button is doing the same thing for me. Instead of functioning quotes I get these lines with greater-than signs at the start. I'm on my desktop, Windows 10, Chrome for browser if any of that might make a difference.

To complicate things even further:

You don't have "Disable BBCode" checked, do you?

I don't remember ever disabling it (and it's still enabled in my signature like it was on the old forums), and when I go to my user control panel, "Enable BBCode by default" is set on.

But now that I look over to the side, it seems like it was somehow switched for me without my knowledge (...but only for posts/replies, oddly enough) -- I see "BBCode is OFF" listed there.

I don't see any option to turn it back on for a reply, though. My only options at the bottom (below the save/preview/submit buttons) are "Do not automatically parse URLs" and "Notify me when a reply is posted."

I have BBC Code set to on in my Profile. I noticed something. Whenever I post up quotes in a different topic, it works, but for this one it does not.

Also why is all my font in Bold for some reason?

Aha! It was a permissions issue. It's on a per-forum basis. I fixed it for Front Page, and it's probably fine elsewhere, but let me know if you spot it anywhere else.

What about a category under "Quick Links" that shows the last posts since the last week, two weeks, last month? Wouldn't that be better organised? Active topics is always empty it looks like. Unanswered topics is a niche, not happening.
One list for all I'd suggest. Say, do you have to "program" that into the forum software? How customiseable is it?

Not as customizable as I'd like. I didn't come up with those categories.

Two new fixes:
  • The search index has been rebuilt. You can search for anything from the dawn of time now.
  • Filenames are now listed correctly on the game detail page.

I just noticed that all code ever posted inside 'code' tags is unreadable because (, ), : and other characters have been converted to escape codes. For example: https://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewto ... 15#p138715. I really hope it'll be possible to fix this.

Also, pleased to see the search index rebuilt. On another forum I use that recently migrated forum software, they never bothered...

I doubt there's a good way to fix that programmatically. It shouldn't be hard to find a tool to convert character entities to text, at least.
