This is a custom status screen for Viridian Dreams, with temporary artwork courtesy of a friend of mine. Right now it's just auto-filling all the relevant stats, names, and icons. The icon in the top-right represents someone's weight class, which determines what types of weapons they can use. This g...

There was a bit of discussion earlier on what qualifies something as an RPG, so I'd like to go ahead and ask if what I have in mind qualifies (I'll be finishing it regardless of whether or not I can enter it into the contest). My game (working title: Viridian Dreams) will be more of a Strategy game ...

I have come back from the dead to participate in this contest. :zombie: I'm building a lot of code from the ground up this time, so it'll be a month or two before I can visually show any progress, but I'm feeling very committed this year. I hope the rest of you are, too! Part of why I'm so excited r...

What's a CRPG? A cursory look from google tells me that it's the digital equivalent of a pen-and-paper RPG, is this about right? And if so, which games would you most recommend? And do you know of any groups I might be able to jump into to get started playing? I've been looking for something to repl...

So is this Bob the Hamster, or plain ol' Bob?
Bob was stricken with emotion. He had a difficult moment to ponder whether to deny this strangeness, or to fess up to Alice about what he had been up to all these years.

Golden Sun? I played The Lost Age and got bored with it after a few days. This was a long time ago, so my memory's a bit foggy, but somewhere around the town full of werewolves I started noticing that the dungeons' puzzles, while innovative and all, went on for far, far too long. Way too repetitive ...

Nice! I'd considered making a texture pack based off of tiles I drew in the OHR, but I think I ran into an issue with the tile sizes. Maybe it's different now, or maybe my memory is mistaken, but nonetheless I must ask, did the tiles match up for you, or did you have to do some editing and resizing?...

I have ended up with a team that steamrolls the enemy pretty easily, so unchallenged, i got bored. it is my own fault really ;) You should tackle the Ruins that open up before the final chapter. That stuff gets pretty hard, and it actually culminates with a final battle against TEN DRACO ZOMBIES, O...
