It does work for me, and I am using Firefox 3 on Ubuntu 8.04 It is cool, but gets too hard to be fun. I think slightly different "hit" behavior would be nice. I see three components to being hit * Being pushed back * Loss of control * Being invulnerable to further hits. I think the pushbac...

Right now there is no way to automatically save map/npc states in a save game. That will happen sometime in the future -- sometime after the save format rewrite.

The only thing you could do now is to use a bunch of global variables to save NPC state-- but that would be a real pain :(

Fantastic testing! Thank you! Looking at the logs for that day, I think the most likely cause is this: r2040 | teeemcee | 2008-05-24 04:07:13 -0700 (Sat, 24 May 2008) | 1 line Fix bug 432: usedoor triggers the door underneath you instead if it has a lower ID. ...

James, Wasn't the whole reason why Wandering Hamster took so long to receive an update because you knew there had to be a mini-golf quest and you weren't sure how to go about tackling it? Wasn't that the thing stopping you from finally pushing full steam ahead? Just curious...what are you telling u...

My goodness. I need a DS.

Hey, not to change the subject, but has anybody ever heard of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fant ... n">this</a>? I would love to find an emulator capable of playing it.

Unexpected, sorry. It's always the same map, which is the one that would happen if door 1 were used again. Map 0 Door 1 -> Map 1 Door 0 Map 1 Door 1 -> Map 2 Door 0 Map 2 I use Door 1 while on Map 0 and end up at Map 2. Door 1 on map 1 is not the exit (or anywhere near) the correct stuff Could you ...

Ok, let me put this to rest. Easiest player to do this is in winamp. Just add the tracks into your playlist, right click them, and then click 'view file info'. You can edit the id3 tags there (just 'v1' is necessary). Id3 tags stay with the file itself, it has very little to do with the internet (a...

I haven't got a DS, but I have just be re-playing FF4 Hardtype on a SNES emulator.

Are the four rare summons still available for the insanely patient (or obsessive) player?

Mystic wrote:[edit] I'm pretty sure it's using door 1, then using door 1 again (not the exit door, which would lead back in this case) on the new map, leading to the seemingly random third map.
When you say "random" do you just mean "unexpected" or do you mean "different each time"

Voxhumana; the WIP works slowly (about half speed) under WINE which is fine for Custom but not Game and I can't seem to build the source I remember your Wiki post about running in Wine. I was so mortified that I immediately added Linux builds to the automated <a href="http://hamsterrepublic.co...

Are you using the stable release (voxhumana) or a nightly wip build?

I don't seem to be able to vote. When I view games I see "You must be logged in to rate this game" even though I am logged in.

I give my vote to Jimmy, but only by a very narrow margin. The way Jimmy looks when he picks up a lamp and carries it around is what pushed it over the threshold for me.
