Attacks are usable outside of battle already, but it would definitely be useful to be able to have outside-battle attacks trigger textboxes or scripts! Something like the old school Final Fantasy games' teleport spell would be a lot easier to make that way, for example. We've already got items than ...

Are the two of you sticking to the original limitations for your edits? For now, I'm focusing on finishing the game with the same limitations -- it's so close to done already that I'd rather go ahead and have another truly finished game first, rather than getting hung up on going back through and a...

I like hapax, humgruffin, hypnotoad, hullabaloo, hurlbutt, and hurdygurdy. Hapax in particular seems fitting with the theme of obscure words, what with it (to my understanding) describing words so obscure they only show up in written record once. EDIT: I also really like Hamstarok, though it does ki...

Bok's Expedition
Explorer and map-maker Bok travels to the distant planet Ihctogo on the spaceship Ummiboro 5, seeking to be the first to thoroughly document the planet. He is joined on his travels across the planet's surface by warrior Norgu, scientist Ondu, and healer Crikki. Of course, this won't end up being *ju...

So I just downloaded DOSBox and the oldest existing OHRRPGCE version and... wow. On one hand, it's neat to look back at all the old wacky stuff (pages upon pages of never implemented status-effect bitsets!) On the other hand... I'm really glad some things like wallmapping and scrolling through menus...

Oh wow, we're already looking forward to the G release? I didn't realize we'd gotten Fufluns as a stable release until just now... I've really been out of the loop with OHR stuff the past few months to a year, I guess. Anyway... I see nobody has suggested Gorgonzola, Medusa's favorite cheese, for th...

Aside from running away from battle, you can just use ALT for anything ESC could do. I've always used CTRL (or spacebar, forgot about the spacebar when I first wrote this... actually I think I use spacebar more than CTRL now that I think about it) and ALT for the basic use and cancel keys, and ESC o...
