Something for a cutscene.

A comparison between two item prices [or; RPG economies]
There's a comment made in this game about its revival item [I've attached it] that got me thinking a bit. Revival items in games vary tremendously in accessibility and cost, from being something you can't even buy in Final Fantasy 3 to being 100 gil (and thus basically nothing) in Final Fantasy 4. T...

The other ones Gonna be short since time's coming up. Also slightly falling asleep writing these so beware. Blood Ledger This all feels a bit irrelevant considering the game's apparently going to get a severe overhaul at some point in the future, but... This is a stealth action game where you throw...

Throwing some stuff in: Theme: Returning - Whether to your hometown, a place you visited long ago, or just to a hub area. Theme: Going up - A mountain? A tower? Into space? There's a few options, but either way you're climbing. Theme: Gaiden Game - Do a side story! If it's to someone else's thing, m...

Eh, the captions are fine, and it's really just my personal preference for attack names there.
But yeah, I'm glad to hear that the battle tracks are placeholders. I actually really like some of the area themes [Beta City, the shrines], so hopefully the final battles themes are stuff I can vibe with.

The ones by the two people who [s]can't help but subtweet one another[/s] are making big longform RPGs and aren't me Starting with the review scores for reasons. Walthros: 8*/10 Axe Cop: 8**/10 Why am I grouping these two together. Well, read the top of this post. More importantly, though, there's ...

The Short Ones Forget-me-not I liked this one! It's a horror/puzzle game with a bit of a flower theme to its characters, and a bit of a mystery going on with its plot and setting. I really have to note its level of polish. The textboxes have an RPG Maker 2k3 vibe to them with their two-tone text, a...

3D Maze Base Scripts [v2]
I took down the old version of this because the base scripts were honestly a nightmare. If you're interested in doing something, these will probably be a better base to work off of. You'll still need to provide a lot of your own stuff [graphics, a bunch of other scripts, etc.], but if you're working...

Games where 1) you throw rocks, and 2) are made by OHR people who've stuck around for a while AAA: This is the most Nathan Karr of Nathan Karr's games I've played. If he wants to take that as a compliment, sure. Let's count the ways it's a Nathan Karr game: 1. If you had stopped by the half hour ma...

I put up an altered version of demo 3 that has a bunch of the features I've been putting in since September that are relevant to the first chunk of the game [the world map, new save menu, and a revised second main dungeon].
As usual, let me know if things break.
