As far as the Sprite Database goes, that discussion would be best served to move here (though posting about it here is totally understandable and scattered conversation about it is better than no conversation at all): The OHR open source sprite/tilemap database (THREAD) As far as this thread goes, l...

DOSBOX

Whenever I use dosbox, I just create a shortcut that uses the built in Windows command Open With... to open the game with dosbox. Works great, no headaches.

The OHR open source sprite/tilemap database.

This thread will be the current sprite database.Posting a sprite or tilemap on this thread that you made means that you are willing to let others use that sprite or tilemap however they choose. The idea to make a sprite database stemmed from another thread and I feel that moving that discussion here...

Am I the only one still interesting in making sprites for this? I likes drawing monsters. I assume it will take a bit of time to get a bunch of things together. However, there are already a couple open sourced sprite collections available in the community in the form of rpg files. I assume these co...

O k, well a sprite database is basically up to mogri to implement. If you'd like to help convince him to make one, I suggest making a bunch of sprites for it in advanced and pm them to him. A s for the tutorial game, we'll go ahead and wait a bit to make it. We'll need those open source sprites, so...

I think this is the first time most of these classes have seen the Internet. Can you name them all? Start from the top with Bowman and go clockwise. For each class you guess correctly (excluding the basic classes and the Knight, whose name appears in the screenshot besides appearing in chapter 1), ...

Ah, it seems that if you keep playing the game long enough the scripts build up too much or something. Honestly not sure what the best way to fix that would be. Here's the source code for anyone interested. You have my permission to edit it and the game as much as you'd like. EDIT:Hmm the site seems...

Very nice, I like one-button games. It's quite satisfying getting a critical hit. It's a bit easy though; I had to try really hard to die. It seems you were right. I had made a mistake and had the hero's hp resetting on every monster. That really is too easy. The new version I just put up keeps the...

hmm... well I didn't want it to be too hard. After looking through the rules it seems I can use texts without breaching rank 3 on anything so I'll look into giving it a scoring system. Might even be able to cram a top score board in there. However, I'm considering it a finished game for now, so it's...
