What follows is an ongoing series of comics depicting actual scenes from the OHR's IRC channels. No names have been changed to shame the people or persons involved. Come to the OHR IRC channels. They wait... http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gxOTbGiYpjc/UkaUcigcg4I/AAAAAAAAAgc/u9t4ZaAgkuY/s1600/grandtheftO...

How about submitting your game to people to do Let's Plays, reviews, or write blog posts? I had thought about making a people category. I'm not really sure though. It seems weird to make a list of people's names. I think the people category should remain private for now. Is http://sandbox.yoyogames...

The clear solution in my opinion is to have a beach tile where the boat the hero and both walk. Problem solved. Another solution, requiring lite scripting, would be it have 1 script run when you exit the boat, that makes the tile the boat is currently on no longer have a wall map. And another script...

There's another category of sites that I didn't list above. That's the sites that you don't have too much control over getting your game on to yourself, but by promoting your game elsewhere, you might end up on. Such sites include: http://www.gamespot.com http://www.gamefaqs.com http://games.softped...

Whoops, almost forgot to vote. 1 - Meh 2.0 Out of all the games in the contest, clearly the most work went into this game. With superior graphics and creative and original gameplay (even if it does seem to just lead to random choices doing random things) this is the clear winner. All that's left is...

Ah, yes. I should mention that the license I have is a fictitious name license. And again, google play doesn't actually really require a business. However, it does require you fill out a lot of forms, some of which deal with your business name and such. But you can just fill those out with your pers...

Post the site here even if you're not sure it belongs on the list. Like, there's been a lot of these tiny consoles coming out and I think we should look into them more. Like the Nvidia Shield, I'm pretty sure we can get ohr games on this, but I'm not sure how yet. I'll have to look into it more late...

Promoting your game!
S o, you've completed the game you've been working on for a year and you uploaded to the internet. However, you've only gotten 12 people to download it and none of them are commenting. You need Promoting my friend. When people think of Promoting, some go straight to thinking about paid adds, ...

@jcenterprises: Google Play was the one that I came across that seems to require a business to sell games there. That's not to say that they check up on your business' license, or that you can't just put your individual name and information into the business lines on the forms. However, there didn't...

@Bob (aka James): Well amazon didn't have any charges at all, and there was a flat 25 dollar charge for google play. I also got a business license renewal and a PO box. However, the business license was a birthday gift so I only sort of count that. I plan to reuse the google play account again and a...

Any plans to upload the game to Desura or Shinyloot? I think you can also upload it to Desura for free, don't know about Shinyloot. My experience with Desura in the past is that they have a rather unfriendly screening process. That's not to say that an OHR couldn't get through that process but it's...
