@TacoBot: Gary Gygax was talking about table top RPG's. In video game culture however the RPG genre is generally meant to refer to games that resemble Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest. Saying that anything could be considered an RPG is, quite frankly, wrong. You play a "role" ins lots of game...

Here's what I think about t4r4d1ddl3, and ramble planet too. The developers have shown no interest in entering the contest so I feel like both cases are moot. Now I'm sure we could debate what makes an rpg an rpg in extreme detail. For example, is the new game Destiny an rpg? Is Zelda an RPG? Is Pok...

So I posted a screenshot of the game I've been working on with RedMaverickZero in the heart of the official hamster republic thread. I meant to post it here, thus I'm doing so now. The game is called Graffiti Goose. It's a painting puzzle game. What that means... is a bit hard to explain. It's desig...

Hi Taco Bot, you must be new here. Welcome to the community! :V But to get a bit more serious, this is the ever present problem of the OHR. Very few people here market their games. Ignore these other sites you posted, think about the ouya and android. Do you know how many people play my games on the...

Your religions are just as flawed as the mormon religion is. The flying spaghetti monster is just as likely to exist as your gods. The only reason people believe in religion is because their parents told them about it when they first learned about death. Facing your religion not being true is the sa...

Yes Urkealbot, it's actually really simple to do. You just need to use scripting. You have a 1 line script that changes the maptile from overhead to underhead ™ and another script that reverses that. Then you place npcs on each side and load them up witht he correct scripts. Simple. Of course, this ...

The looks aren't the only improvements.

I went through a lot of different variations of scripts for jumping, climbing, and general animation before I settled on one I felt was good enough. (though I guess that's more hype than graphics.)

@RMZ: I wouldn't know what to actually do with the money. I heard there was some confusion about what to do with the money from that art book and I assume something similar would happen with this money. However, I'd be fine with including a donate button. @TMC: I used blogger because it's free and h...
