Rachelle takes a deep breath. She's never jumped this far in her entire life, but she needs to now. She gets a running start and leaps off inches from the first tile. She spins as she's in the air, propeling her body further. She touches down on the other side of the tiles with remarkable grace tha...

Lynda reports back and then quickly opens the last door in the hallways. In the center of this otherwise bare room is a 10 foot deep sunken pit filled with liquid. A thin glass sphere floats in the middle of the pit. Inside the sphere can be seen a large silver key. Rachelle climbs back down the la...

Hilariously, the most work I've ever done for a game I haven't released was for a zelda-like. The second most work was also a zelda-like but with a Zombie theme. Maybe, I'll flush one of these out a bit for the monthly game thing this year.

Also, I didn't know you had used the ss101 scripts too.

A ghoul rushes by Lynda in the hallways. Had she not seen the ghoul with Kalar she would have likely been rather bothered by this. Lynda reached the door and opened it to reveal a mound of gold 10' high by 10' wide by 40' long lying in the middle of the room. Lynda sees jewels, shields and other it...

"The chest would be too heavy to lift out while climbing, but I will bring you what contents I can carry." After saying that, the ghoul leaves.

Heat washes over Rachelle as she opens the door. A blood-red carpet covers the floor. The walls and ceiling have been painted scarlet. The incense of sulpher, benzoin and euphorbiurn fills the room. The furniture in the room has been lacquered red. A large man stands in the center of the room. The ...

"There is a chest of treasure at the bottom of the hole. I don't know what's in it," says the ghoul. Meanwhile, Rachelle peaks in to see a green room. The walls and ceiling of this room are painted green. An emerald colored carpet covers the floor. The room is empty of furniture. The scen...

The ghouls drop their lances and shields and take their armor off. After they remove it they seem very dexterous indeed as they crouch down and half crawl around the room looking at things. Meanwhile, Lynda looks at the pieces of paper in the empty library. She finds that two of them are notes simi...

The ghouls follow Kalar and Gontort in a clumsy manner. The bang against the walls and stumble as the walk. It would seem they aren't very proficient with the weapons, armor, and shields. "My name is John and his is Kretivuslar," says one of the ghouls. "The ghoul lands are a massive...

The guard's both salute Kalar. "Sir, pardon our rudeness. What our your orders?" Kalar can feel that he has them both under his control. Gontort lowers his axe. Lynda peaks into the center room. This room seems like a library. At least it would be if any of the shelves had books in them. ...

I think you're over valuing ss101. I might have been the only one to use it and I altered it greatly. I think the reason for more platformers than pixel based movement is because when you make a platformer you're ok with doing away with all the rpg aspects of the ohr. With pixel based movement you'r...

(Kalar's knowledge religion check)
Ignoring their armor and the fact that they are guarding a hole and not furiously attacking all living creatures for their bone marrow, these two guards are ghouls.

Gontort shakes his axe at Kalar as if to ask if he should use it on the ghouls.

Gontort looks a bit annoyed at Kalar but does as he says.
In the middle of this room is a 10' wide pit. The pit is guarded by two
hideous, beast-like humans, in armor holding large shields and lances.
"Halt, no living beings may approach the ghoul lands," says one of the guards.

Gontort respectfully lets Kalar take the lead. Kalar has seen this type of circle before. It's a very complex looking sealing circle used when summoning demons in order to gain information. From the look of it, it's very strong. The creature inside the circle is a death demon. Kalar doesn't know mu...
