Normin falls silent, standing firmly upon the crutch of his barren willow and his other hand behind him, as he remains aware of how rude a distraction can be.

Horace comments, "At least she is alive and not lost like other members of the group have been, and we know more about the teleportal now, as well."

Action 52 Font

A font transcribed from the generic font used in the infamous Action 52 multi-cart into OHRRPGCE's internal font format. Surprisingly not as terrible as its original form thanks to lack of shading and OHR's automatic text outlining. Some changes were made to the font to correct errors or improve cla...

While copying over this font, it felt like I was just making things up as I was modifying the default DOS font, which I suspect the Action 52 devs had done. I just did some research and I think now it's more likely that the Action 52 font is a modified Amiga font (development was done on Amiga 500)...

I made an Action 52 font but I want to see if anybody is interested before I put up a game entry for it. It is surprisingly not that bad after fixing some of the errors and changing a few characters for better clarity (example provided). Ironically the shading they added to the font in the original ...

Horace turns quickly to the scream, noticing the now nude human nearby. Like a humiliating joke, this dungeon had played. "I was right, the mist acts as a portal," he comments. "But did it transport her belongings separately, or vaporize them?"

"If you do have any ideas," he says to Vanessa, "We should discuss it with the others." Horace will move on after Slickens to find Karamon and the rest that are with him in hopes of getting updated on their whereabouts and findings.

Hyne glances over to where the duke is making a story of himself, but isn't sure if he can tell what they might be talking about. Perception to try to hear: 1D20+3+2 => (12 + 3 + 2) = 17 While trying to listen, he puts away his belongings once more and returns to finishing up his lunch before any of...

Normin carries himself on his branched staff, hobbling back to the headquarters. Surely the executors will likely question him eventually, but not before he gets business out of the way first. He carries his voice before he can step close, letting sound outpace his pitiful pace by saying, "Pard...

I wrote some scripts for when I display score on the screen. One is designed for arcade style fixed length scores where zeroes fill empty digits, and the other is designed for nicer looking high score tables (that can also be used just as a general script for adding commas to large number strings). ...

Although, with the OHR's 20x20 tiles it looks quite different from 8x8 tiles on the NES (was that all the NES supported? I'm not sure. The fact that the OHR's tiles are 6x larger means that sticking to 4 colours per tile is much more restrictive than on the NES though) It uses 8x8, yes, but IIRC it...

Started with the playing field graphics (click to enlarge). This is still a shooter, just not one with a sci-fi or military theme.
