Apparently only Marth (and in Ness' case, Pokemon Trainer) can truly infinite this way, so while it lessens the impact of playing the character, it is still a pretty bad match-up against Marth. http://smashboards.com/showpost.php?p=4426813&postcount=88 So against a Marth (or if you play as Ness,...

I really should rematch you. That was way too cheap of me to take advantage of a character flaw like that.

Ouch. The inability to break free from repeated grabs is a flaw that was discovered that completely breaks Ness and Lucas. Characters have a certain animation time after they break free from a grab, but Ness and Lucas both have animations longer than others, meaning they are immobile when the player...

I probably shouldn't have used the grab trick (only works on Ness and Lucas) the first match.

I'll likely be tomorrow before I can catch Surlaw's time frame, since I am beginning to fix my sleep schedule again.

Zelda II: Adventure of Link. It's an action game, AND an RPG, so I don't have to worry about being either way on this one.

Surf's Up Yuk - 4/5 This game had a ton of effort put into it obviously, but like everyone else, this is a RMZ game with Surlaw characters. This game stands a better chance outside of the contest, especially if more replay value is added for the Deluxe version. Also, I missed Surlaw's Yuk design. FF...

There's also the issue with the OHRRPGCE's Sprite Editor which allows 15 colors and one transparent color, so it looks like one color will have to kick it.
So basically we're allowed to choose any color to be black while making a sprite?

This is Pixelation's 16-color palette, isn't it? If so, then there should be no problem since this is a really good palette from what I've seen.

Does this contest need to have a start date, or were we supposed to have already started on brainstorming a storyline?

I don't remember bumpers being OHKO machines before, but maybe I didn't play enough Melee.
That's because Bumpers weren't in Melee at all, but they were in Smash 64, and I am pretty sure they knocked you back quite a bit.

Kamina slime looks even more like the Squirtle Squad now, but that isn't such a bad thing.
