You can import any 256 color .bmp as a palette in GG, so just export any backdrop (chances are you already hav eone on hand)

You can do the same for images that have the MS Paint palette embedded in them.

There's an interesting program floating around which I can't remember the name. I think RMSephy and Kitten Masters of the Universe use it. This will bug me all day that I can't remember it...

I use Graphics Gale, which is the most logical upgrade from MS Paint, IMO.
