Yeah, the funny thing was that I wasn't getting script errors! Everything appeared as if it ought to have been working, but nothing really was. That's because you were defining variables for Key:1, Key:2, etc. When you were saying "WaitForScancode (Key:1)", you were saying "WaitforSc...

You could use a custom shop, I think, to "Trade" ingredients for finished products, but that's obviously not as cool.

The nice thing about scripting with slices is that they can be very visual. The collection editor in custom, and the slice debug menu (I believe Ctrl+F4?) in game give you a wealth of information about the stuff you're working with. That said, it could be possible with NPCs, Heroes and tags and such...

I was doing more brainstorming about this, trying to figure it out in a method I could understand, i.e. making a crafting system with maps, hero swapping, and npcs. I think this would be possible, but would require accounting for lots of variables and npcs. I got wondering if anyone had ever design...

(Don't kill me because I've only been using the OHR for a few months.) I just downloaded the 1998 4-map version, but DOSBox crashed when I tried to run custom.exe. I'm not having this problem with game.exe, but NOTATE looks like garbage: http://i.gyazo.com/bfc03a87b4a91a03e594dbb0ade898d1.png Oh we...

What happened is nobody gave a crap. We got one entry, and a bunch of talk. Quietly canceleld due to lack of participation. If you want, you can claim victory, or we can call the Cosby Rape allegations the scariest thing to come out of the month of October. Your call.

Eat me. If you don't want to pretend to be Ernest Hemingway, The Bard, or Charles Dickens working on their greatest stories then I don't want to pretend to know you.

Your religions are just as flawed as the mormon religion is. The flying spaghetti monster is just as likely to exist as your gods. The only reason people believe in religion is because their parents told them about it when they first learned about death. Facing your religion not being true is the s...

Well, if the only 100% legal way to play these games is to buy a $600,000 arcade machine from an insane collector, pay $1000 in shipping, plug it in and watch your electricity bill fly through the roof; then I'm all for this. A lot of the well known games in arcade history (whether good or bad) hav...

Thanks for all the help, but Spoonweavers script from somekindaninja doesn't work... And yes I also copied the global variable, into my script file but my OHR always says that something is wrong with the script... Isn't there another way to make characters walk diagonal? Or a fix for the script? Wh...

Typewriter 3

Friends, I know I've burned you before. Typewriter 1? You'd might as well have used a real typewriter! All the letters popped up way too fast! And that font? A kid writes better! A kid! Typewriter 2 was nice... if you never make any mistakes! You hit delete and it starts deletin random letters all o...
