As always, if I went too far, none of this happened: Voulton is distracted from Kalar's question by the broken glass in his pants. As he throws it out, realizing now where the silver came from, he comes upon the other thing he kept in that pocket.. the platinum piece from home, bearing the picture o...

THE AFTERLIFE And at once, Voulton is lifted into the air. It's not a threatening lift, he somehow feels as if all he'd have to do is ask and he'd be set back down. But it'd mean he'd never get back home, stuck forever in this place... though the appearance of Sephora, every bit as captivating as h...

THE AFTERLIFE Voulton has sat and watched the ring of saplings intently. There's doubt in his mind that these are the same ones he planted as a time travel experiment.. but why are they here? Why are they the ONLY saplings here? The only not trees? Who's running this place? What are they trying to ...

Work is the most satisfying time of the day, with the flying splinters and crashing wood bringing temporary life to the dull ...

Weird thing is, when we learned about the sequence in math class, we learned it at Halloween and the worksheets we were handed had pumpkins and stuff on it. I always thought there was a connection!

THE AFTERLIFE It feels like it's been weeks. Wandering in any direction just leads to more trees, more nothing. With nothing better to do Voulton has resumed cutting down the trees, finding comfort in the familliar rhythm of heavy labor. Though he's felt the pain and exertion of the hard work, he h...
