Last day of the 50 cent sale! I'd still like more feedback. Pepsi did a video play through (I'll leave it to him post the link if he chooses to) and it was useful to watch. I'm planning on putting together a Director's Commentary of some sort, hopefully soon!

Congrats and good luck, when you're ready to upload I recommend using Steam's new GUI tool instead of messing with their command line stuff. It's much faster and easier than their recommended method, download and instructions are here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks/discussions/0/412449...

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2

Image

New Pac-Man: It's not quite as good as Championship Edition DX, but it's solid nonetheless.

Looks like 50 cents is the right price for Steam, copies are actually selling at this price.

Also the news feed being screwy seems to be fixed now.

There is new stuff in this week's update, but it's mostly cleaned up text boxes and a couple new menu options that should clarify gameplay for new players. Nothing worth going back to just for that. I'm hoping to add Steam Trading Cards soon.

I saw that but I don't know what's up with it, on the backend it only shows up once. Steam's got some screwy issues in general that I've had trouble dealing with, but on a good note they now have a new, Windows based program for uploading/updating titles instead of asking users to deal with hours of...

I think listing links to places where you can currently, publicly download games is fine. I don't like rehosting people's content, but providing a database of direct links makes plenty of sense.

with the caveat that attempts would be made to inform the original author and ask their permission This is really the thing that matters the most to me. If lots of people are on board and want their games archived, that's great! I know it's next to impossible in some cases. I still think it's the f...

Giz's post is pretty much where I fall on this. A database of important/good games would be subjective, but more useful and easier to get author consent than just throwing up everything ever. Like, there's no historical value to preserving a two minute joke I threw up in response to a forum post. It...

I guess I'll be the first jerk to say I really, really don't want my games archived anywhere I don't have control over, especially since one of them I removed from here in order to sell commercially. I don't want obsolete copies floating around nor do I want all of my one-note jokes that haven't bee...

I wrote a lot of bone puns for the game tonight. It's about two hours long total right now, still very early on.
